Why would anyone be salty? That would be a great thing because it means he earned the job and has developed under real coaching. Not sure why that is a bad thing. I wanted to be the day 1 starter last year and he was the better of the 3 that played last season. Having a hard time understanding why anyone would be pissed over that. It's a win/win.

Exactly! If he starts then he earned it and it wasn't given to him.I love the kids toughness and character. He's easy to pull for.

If they take a grad transfer it's because they believe he could Atleast compete and push the other QB's fighting for the job. There's nothing personal about it for me, you are the one getting butthurt when it's said JG is far from the starter right now. It was like somebody gutt punched you. Hell I won't even dare question the ones who have already given Chandler the starting RB job. I think there's a good chance he is but that's another position that will have several battling and not just a given. Especially with JP loving a bigger,physical back like Banks is. There's very few positions that you can absolutely pencil in as a game 1 starter. A new staff means new opportunities and more position battles. I honestly hope JG wins the job and hopefully JT can redshirt. But with our recent QB injury problems who knows who is under center come October.

You are not good at interpreting. I get accused by K-Town King of NEVER defending JG and now I have you going the exact opposite. :w00t: At least one of you is FOS...I vote both. You keep spouting off these bullet points like I’ve argued AGAINST them. “Gut punched”. :loco:

Everybody will be slap tickled if JG plays great. I mean, other than a few curmudgeons. He’s got all the stuff going on from the neck down (if healthy). It’s the rest of his body that’s been the weak spot so far in his VERY YOUNG career.

Agree...kid has physical tools, but lacking in areas as well. Love to see him come out of spring practice with a little less ego...

And I think he will...

Minshaw would be crazy to go to bama and play 3rd string.

But if he did, I could almost see Jalen Hurts bolting for some other school.

At Auburn he would back up Stinchcomb.

At Tennessee, he has a good shot at starting which would boost his draft stock.

I’m thinking the same thing, just wish Chryst could go through spring practice. If he does come, I think that really hurts his chances of being ready for the opener.
