I liked Dooley, too, but I think Butch is bringing the mojo that Derek was lacking. That should make a big difference.

As for the kicking game goes. Are we looking at anybody in this class or will we just work on what we have and get one next year.

Need some help and don't know where to ask so I'll try here. Are Omari Phillips and Trent Taylor still on the team? Looking at last years class and these two seem like they could really help our d line. Also is everything alright with Bonner? Thank you to whoever has any answers.

For now that is. When we get 7 more commitments, we'll be in the top 3 or 4 in the SEC. Behind Bama, LSU and Florida.

I agree... Jones is just a ball players coach. I feel great about what he's doing.

this ranking system is a joke..
How can Vandy be ranked number 14 and only have 2 4*'s and 19 3*'s?
is it quanity over quality?
must be or USC would be ranked number 1, sorry b@st@rds!

Haven't checked but i'm sure the other teams still have room for more commitments as well.

That being said. CBJ has done well in the time he has had.

We really don't have a lot of control over how our rivals recruit. All CBJ can do, is do the best he can (and late to the game mind you), but it looks to me like he is doing a pretty fine job of it.

120 teams playing in FBS football and you won't be happy if we pull a top 15 class based off of rivals or scout or 247's rankings.

We need to hire a "Control the other SEC Teams Recruiting Coach" so that we can out recruit them every year.

The classes aren't completed. We have several more spots to go but so do other teams. The people thinking we will be in the top ten are discounting the fact the top ten are still adding prospects and the ones thinking we will finish behind Vandy are discounting the fact that Vandy is Vandy. We will move up from 25th for sure but top 10 will be a stretch.

Oh and to reply to the Vandy thing....

They only have 2 4* committed at this point and 19 3* giving them a total of 21 commits. UT has 4 4* commits. Their average star rating is a 3.1 and Tennessee's average star rating is at 3.22. Rankings don't tell the whole story mis compadres.
