Hats off to Stewart-Haas Racing.

I have to admit my preseason prediction was way too pessimistic. Stewart & Newman are on the verge of awakening the interest in me that left with Alan Kulwicki. This is the kind of team I can get enthused about.

Stewart is my favorite driver. Him coming into the sport in 99(Cup) is what got me more involved with the sport. I had my doubts when news first started coming out about the possible change. I have to say that I have been plesantly suprised to see them this competitive this soon. I knew they would be ok on the plate and short tracks and road courses, but I thought they would struggle on the cookie cutter tracks. Him and Newman don't seem far off and keep knocking on the door. The second half of the season could get interesting...
