Now that you mention it, was Steve Kiner on the list? I am pretty sure that Frank Emanuel was there, and he was the first of the Dickey-era All-American linebackers, followed by Naumoff, Kiner and Reynolds.

.

Steve Kiner should be no less than in the Top 5 of any Vol List

And mentioning that game with Alabama where Kiner just dominated the field I found this....

In 1969 even Vanderbilt beat Alabama. And there was the time that same year when, after Tennessee had humbled the Tide 41-14, Tennessee Linebacker Steve Kiner came up to Bryant and said, "Gee, Coach, they don't seem to have the same pride in wearing that red jersey anymore." Bryant will never forget Kiner's words.

Carl Pickens not in the top 25? Horsehocky!

I'm glad to see Clowsen get the props he deserves.

No, he listed Keith and made reference to him and his father, Steve, as the only father-son duo in Tennessee football history who both became All-Americans.

Bill Bates? I know he was a cowboy all those years and I always had a hard time not holding that against him.

I ran into Casey Clausen in K-town after the Vols-Marshall game...he was a total douche...twice...outside talking on his cell...I didn't engage him he just treated me like a db...2nd was at the club where he thought I was "talking to his girl"...

I have no respect for him. I am 6'6 and he smaller I guess thought he was being a bad ass

Great players!! Eric Berry 11? Witten 45? Johnson at 10? Those are really the only 3 I question. They were all awesome. #14 was my personal favorite. Other then Eric Swanson.

Greg Amsler! I loved watching that guy crash into dbs! Andy Kelly is my favorite and Greg is a close second.

It's the Bleacher Report. In other words, it was likely written by a dude sitting on his bed with a big orange comforter who swears he knows everything about TN football while making an idiot out of himself.

No Joey Kent? Marcus Nash better than Pickens and Peerless? Al Wilson that low? I don't remember seeing Harper or Miller on their either.

The writer's list just made my sh!!list.

Pickens was a top ten player all time at utk. he averaged a pick in every game he started at safety as a freshman. Kickoff and punt returns for tds, as well as a pick 6....guy was a once in a lifetime playerplayer

Reggie cobbs freshman year was enough to put him in the 50 imo.

Was dale jones in there?

I can think of a number of lineman....antone davis, mcrae, still, galbreath.....
