dont feel too bad..our D kinda tanked in the end against Vandy and UK

Yeah but they could afford to against those..you cant drop games like UF did to LSU, UT, etc and contend...UF's D should be Meyers first concern.

BTW, like your avatar..I'm going to miss Ray. Heels will be back though!

yea i feel ya...UF did get the worse end in that loss column. im really not familar with how tight Urban is on defense....also, as long as felty gets picked up my my lakers(which he will) im happy. UNC will struggle next year, but give them a couple and alls good......

UNC has top 5 classes lined up for the next two yrs and might be higher if Uche signs..he's visiting this weekend. Roy is a great coach...they'll be contending again in two yrs!

Yeah the Gators did tend to fall apart alot the past couple years. Hopefully they can do it again just for us............

(p.s. Is felton a lottery pick? Well as long as I know how to say the mans name I will be fine.)

Yes...both Williams and Felton are projected top 10.

Williams will be top 3.
Felton will be from 7-10.
May will wall to around 19 or 20.
Jawad is a solid mid-second.

McCants was projected 15-20..but is slipping...also I've seen where even Manual was a late second rounder...6 could get drafted and they should atleast get 4 in the first round..that will tie Dook from 99!

i edited my post and left out McCants...but yea, im unsure about Manual. if he doesnt get drafted, he will get picked up in free agency.

the only reason McCants is slipping is his size. and his "attitude" which is i think is complete bs

If not, he might play overseas with players like Walsh or Roberson that will prolly not make the NBA and should go back to school.

agreed....Roberson is crazy, he doesnt have what it takes to really make it. but hey, he can always sit on the bench and make rookie minimun.(which isnt that bad)

Kid is a dime a dozen in the NBA...there are many many players with his size and skill set trying to get into the NBA. Walsh is the same way...he's great at coming off screens but you have to have create your own space in the NBA and he's just not quick enough...I do think David Lee will be a nice bench role player...the other two must come back to school.

David Lee does have the best shot in the NBA...6'9" 252 is a fairly good size, but he needs to put on a little to really be affective as a PF.

also, call me crazy, but isnt his defense a BIG problem.

His D has improved, but it does need more improvement..UF put more of an emphasis on D and rebounding this yr and I do think it helped Lee somewhat...his weakside D was better and he actually lost a few lbs to get back to his quicker soph playing weight.

I just hope that we get our BBall team going this year. Id really like to see a good, close game against Florida here. considering it seems like im the only person who went to all the games....

Heck UT split with UF every year that Buzz coached...thats not bad.

yeah, but it seems like we win won barely..and then we get blown out. not a good way to play

two ways to look at that though...it showed the potential of the team against an obvious better team. UT just needs to get more consistent.

UT just needs to get some players who play all out for 40 minutes. CJ Watson is the only really hard player on our team.

Wow... What a tangent. Back to football.

There are a lot of Chris Leak bashers on here. Everybody seems to forget how terrible Florida's fourth quarter defense was God-awful. All it would have taken was for the Zooker to run a 4th Q D competently and they would have won at least half of the games they've lost over the last two seasons. Heck, they probably would have beaten us last season. Chris Leak is doing fine, he's got the stats to prove it. He is very good.

As for that list, all the QBs down through Henne are really good, and Smith, Quinn, Whitehurst and Hackney are all very skilled in their own respects as well. I would put Ainge somewhere in those ranks.
