Sea N Suds is one of my favorites. Love their seafood gumbo. I'd have no problem walking there from the condo for lunch every day.

Their gumbo is good but has less shrimp/fish than the OOH gumbo. But good point, if its close to you OP, then just walk over. Usually not a long wait

Tin Top is off the beaten path but pretty good. Haven't been last two times down to Ft.Morgan. Sea n Suds is one of my favs. Love the cold beer and mahi tacos at LuLu's. Desotos is good. If you go to the Oyster House try the Mahi Down on DA'BAYOU-awesome. Tacky Jacks out on Ft.Morgan has a really good breakfast and not very crowded. Headed back to Ft.Morgan in Oct. Can't freakin wait. My son loves the fried crawfish tails at Shrimp Basket.

Hermit named pretty much the best ones. Im down there every other weekend. I eat at tacky jacks, original oyster house, and the shrimp basket more than any other. Lulu's is always crowded so if you can stand the wait its worth it.

Cosmos is good. Lulu's is worth a visit. Ate at Live Bait last trip and it was servicable.

Lillians (just across the FLA line) has good pizza/italian.

Florabama actually has some good burgers.

Best burger is at the Pirates Cove (along with great Bushwackers) but it's tough to get to - best reached by boat. It's basically a shanty but damn good burgers - some claim it was the inspiration for Cheese Burger in Paradise.

Lulu's food is ok at best. It's just a tourist trap.
Original oyster house is good.
Zekes and Lousiana Lagniappe down in orange beach are very good.

As already mentioned, Lulu's and Cobalt. If you're going anywhere near Foley, Lambert's Cafe if definitely a must.

For Orange Beach a new addition is the Florabama Yacht Club - it's across the street from the Florabama (behind the liquor store). Good atmosphere and really good food. I recommend the Lobster Corndogs.

There's a place called The Gulf which is worth a stop - it's on the west side of the pass out to the ocean. It's all outside but has a cool vibe and the food is good.

I also recommend a trip to the Pirates Cove in Josephine - great burgers, Bushwackers and an absolutely great atmosphere.

Glad you mentioned that. We're staying about 3 buildings down from Florabama. I'm looking forward to trying it.

I've read about Pirates Cove too. It sounds like the kind of place my dad and I would like and everyone else would whine about being hot or bored. He's wanting to go over to NAS Pensacola one day (he loves flashing his retired LTC ID) so we might just do all the driving in one day and hit that on the way back.

You are only a 1/2 hour from Pensacola and Pirates Cove is only a 1/2 drive. It has a beach so you can hang out there. It's a blast

Hells bells, half the people reviewing it acted like it was miles and miles out there. 1/2 hour is nothing to drive for a good burger and a place to hang out. Def. heading there.

It's an easy drive too - you go up the tollway past the Wharf then take a right (can't recall the road) follow it to a T then go right and follow that to the PC.
