That are eliminated as of today.Oregon,Alabama and UCLA and the loser of Michigan and OSU,hope one of them gets a beat down!We will slide right in to #4 at the worse! Go Vols
Worst case really is OSU and Michigan playing a fun competitive gameLSU is also eliminated until the top 5 teams lose more.
I don't trust the committee or the pollsters for not correctly putting loser of Michigan and OhSt below us, even though their strength of schedule is at cupcake level.
I'm also totally confident that uscWest will lose at least one more game probably two.

I don’t think it is. Ohio State would be 1. UGA would probably be 2. We would be 3. I think 4 would go to Clemson if they win out. They beat FSU and LSU didn’t plus LSU has 2 losses to 1. I think the strength of a win over UGA would cancel out the extra loss but that FSU data point is a tough one for LSU when measured against Clemson. I don’t think it’ll matter though. UGA won’t crap the bed against LSU.LSU is a TCU loss away from being in the Top 5 going into Atlanta. LSU controls their destiny if TCU drops a game in one of the final 2 weeks.
LSU needed a host of things to happen in two weeks and they pretty much got all but 1:
Beat Bama
Clemson losing
Get Ranked ahead of other 1 loss teams (USC)
Oregon losing
If TCU drops a game, LSU's playoff chances are in their hands going to Atlanta.

Why not? That’s what happened with Penn St and Ohio St in a similar scenario.
And 2016 and 2018 are very much different....
2016, Penn State was not in the top 6 when the conference title game came around. To add to it, they played Wisconsin who was ranked #6.... #7 beat #6 would not justify a 3 point jump into the Top 4.. There is no world where #5 (#5 if TCU drops a game) beats #1 in the final weekend and gets left out of the playoff because of 2 losses. Penn State simply did not have enough good opponents left to make that jump from outside looking in......

I think TCU slips up. Kansas State can beat them in the title game. We need a blow out in OSU/Michigan. Obviously a USC loss would help. I see absolutely no way a 2 loss LSU team getting in. We would have one less loss and thumped them at their house. Even a SEC championship can't overcome that. If they put LSU team in over Tennessee we should freaking riot. Not happening.
I agree on USC but Clemson I don’t. You were wrong about TCU jumping us and I think you’ll be on this too if it comes to fruition.I think people are vastly underrating LSU because “a 2 loss team has never made it before” when LSU would arguably have the best resumè of any 2 loss team vying for a spot.
The last one and maybe only one was Penn State. They simply didn’t have enough ranked opponents in the closing stretch plus they didn’t get help either. LSU could close the season with 3 top 10 wins in a 7 game stretch while debuting in the rankings at #10. They got help from 3 teams ahead of them as well. At their current rate, they’ll be #6 at worst when regular season ends or #5 if TCU was to drop a game.
Clemson winning the ACC maybe gets them back in the top 6-8 but does move them over an 11-2 LSU SEC Champ? No. Does a one loss USC move over them? Most likely not. The committee ranked LSU with two losses over one loss USC. What has changed for them to leapfrog LSU? Nothing.
There will never be a 2 loss team in the playoff until there is. And a 2 loss team will need a strong resumè and absolutely need help from other teams. LSU is basically there now with 2 more weeks left in the regular season. If TCU drops a game LSU will be in the Top 5. From there they are a win away and we (SEC) are a win away from first ever playoff with 2 loss team and 3 SEC teams.
