You also clearly said TCU wouldn’t jump us at any point and a week later it happened.

Never said at any point. I’m sorry. Find that post. I said I didn’t expect them to jump us last week based on Boo’s comments from the first week’s interview and rankings. They clearly changed their criteria. But I never once said TCU wouldn’t pass us “at any point”.

At end of the regular season and selection Sunday, we will be the #3 seed. Go Vols

Ok, so you’re going to go the semantics game huh. Ok buddy. You clearly didn’t think an undefeated TCU would jump a 1-loss UT and said so. Just admit it.

Since you’re trying to pretend your predictions haven’t sucked, you also said Clemson would run the table and that Oregon would make the playoff. That’s 3 swings and misses already. Impressively bad.

I never said Oregon would make the playoff. I said Clemson would go 13-0 and they lost. I was wrong. But please show me the post where I guaranteed Oregon going to the playoff. If anything, I’ve consistently said PAC12 isn’t getting a team in which you know is the conference Oregon is in.

And I literally just said I didn’t expect to drop below tcu in the weekly rankings. But my whole point has been Tennessee at 11-1 is a lock for the playoffs and we will be a 3 seed so we avoid an all SEC semi. This is pretty verifiable.

I never said you guaranteed anything. You can apply that measure to everything you have said so that’s stupid since you haven’t guaranteed a single thing. I’m pretty sure I saw you predict Oregon as the 4 seed though but I’m not going to go digging through your messages to find it. If you didn’t then I’m wrong on that but I like how you skipped over the TCU thing too. Nice shift. I’m pretty sure I saw one earlier today saying USC could win out and not make the Pac12 title game and that’s another wrong statement. You have a massive ego issue and that’s not an incorrect statement.

Oh wait you can’t because now it’s “I’m pretty sure I saw you say”….. 🤡🤡🤡

Yeah I’m the clown when you talk like you’re never wrong and, even if I’m wrong about what you said about Oregon, you were still wrong on TCU, Clemson and now the stupid USC statement.

Exactly. The worst scenario is TCU wins out and LSU wins the SEC. No way they would leave the SEC champ out and put in the team they just beat.

Assuming UT wins out, do you really think they’d put a 2 loss LSU ahead of us, a team we beat by 27 in their stadium? I think that would be worse optics than leaving out the SEC champion.

LSU is a TCU loss away from being in the Top 5 going into Atlanta. LSU controls their destiny if TCU drops a game in one of the final 2 weeks.

LSU needed a host of things to happen in two weeks and they pretty much got all but 1:

Beat Bama
Clemson losing
Get Ranked ahead of other 1 loss teams (USC)
Oregon losing

If TCU drops a game, LSU's playoff chances are in their hands going to Atlanta.

You do realize that LSU has two losses and one is to Tennessee. In no way do they control their destiny if they are going up against a one loss Tennessee that beat the snot out of them on their home turf!

I figure we slide in to 4 after tOSU/Mich game and that rematch with UGA everybody was talking about happens.

We should considering our tough schedule and the cupcake schedules of OhSt and Mich!

But Peyton Manning should have also won a Heisman but bias B1G bias replaced logic and fairness!

If USC wins out they would have finished with three ranked opponents - Notre Dame, UCLA, and the PAC championship vs either Oregon or Utah.

wow! just look at this incredibly tough schedule with a wins over top 20 TBD compared to Tennessee: How can we match that with pedestrian wins verses LSU, AL, FL?

Also uscWest lost to big bad Utah (FL says hi) whereas we lost to lowly Georgia.

I think we are the better team but what helps them if they win out is 3 ranked wins to finish the season and a Pac12 championship.

LSU will not jump TN if TCU loses lol. Do you forget we have a better record and beat them 40-13?

LSU did themselves no favors with that squeaker at Arkansas (playing a backup qB) yesterday. I would not be shocked if LSU loses this week or next.

USC also lost their star running back for the season last night. Committee has said that they look at key injuries in their rankings. PAC 12 reputation is not good (definitely not stronger than the SEC). Remember this is also about money. There is no pac12 matchup that generates more $$ than TN in the CFP. We’ve played in 3 of the most watched football games of the year.

Still their best win is maybe over a three-loss top 15 team in possibly the weakest power 5 conference?
Not saying I agree with it, if it was UT vs USC based on regular season results Tennessee's resume is much stronger. It gets sketchy for us if they have one more win and it being a championship regardless how weak the conference is. Hopefully this is all for not, and they drop a game.
