Seantrel Henderson, the highly recruited offensive lineman who announced Wednesday that he was going to Southern California, has not signed a letter of intent to play for the Trojans.

According to Henderson’s father, Sean, he will wait until U.S.C. appears before an N.C.A.A. infractions committee from Feb. 19-21 to hear about possible sanctions for the program before deciding whether to sign the letter.
he has smart parents

I am surprised more of them did not. Which makes me think USC is not getting in trouble.

I hope USC gets 2-3 years probation, and kiffin gets put on death row.

That being said, lets move on. We have a better coach.

The best thing Kiffin did for our program was leave for USC.

I agree wholeheartedly. It's time to move on.

Oh wow. So the guy who promises to stay with you and will help you get to a championship jilts you on what's supposed to be a re-birth of the program, and tells you lies and then leaves you with egg on your face? Aww that's aweful.

Why is this in the Vols forum?

People keep posting these cuz this thread alone has had nearly 1000 views, plus 400 for the identical one just below it. Like it or not, the guy is part of our history now and being 99% of us hate him now, bad news on him is good news to us. Or so I think.

I'm pretty sure if a program gets major sanctions from the NCAA the players are given a small window for a no restriction transfer (i.e. not having to sit out for 1 year). So that is probably why most went ahead and signed, since really they could get out of it if they needed to.

What if the NCAA slams the Trojams and he decides he wants to go elsewhere? What would stop DD from extending an offer to him as a more stable choice with immediate playing time?

He'll end up at Ohio State

because he is waiting to see if NCAA drops the boom on USC. What's the changes if they do drop the boom we pick him up?

Due to the allegations and recruiting violations stirring around USC, seantrel won't sign. He could end up signing with a different school or staying with USC. I really hope he goes to another school...
I just saw it on ESPN when I was watching bball. its probably all over ESPN.com but i hate that website...
ANy thoughts?

It would absolutely shock me if USC got smacked with a major penalty, but in the event of that happening, Seantrel is either going to Ohio State or Miami.

Have you ever noticed how many family's move to LA after their kids sign with USC? I can understand it on occasion but seems to happen a lot at this place.
