I know years ago Tiger stadium could get crazy, but is it still worthy of a #1 ranking today? Noon game or not, we silenced them cajuns🤘

It's hard to argue against Tiger Stadium at night. But the 2022 season featured some incredible atmospheres at Neyland Stadium. I'm not sure it can get any better than the atmosphere for the Alabama game -- that might go down as the best crowd in Neyland Stadium history (and there's been a load of great ones). And the atmospheres for the Florida and Kentucky games were also nothing short of incredible. Even a noon kickoff for a soggy game against Missouri in November featured a lively sold out crowd.

Bammer players were skeered in the tunnels and after the game, according to Nick. So that tells me all I need to know.
Top five scariest things for an Alabama football player:
1) 105 pound coeds
2) Jalin Hyatt
3) any kicking play against Auburn
4) attending class
5) Nick Saban throwing stuff
scariest thing for an Alabama fan
1) the dentist

Careful. Lil Itty Bitty Nick spoke on this, indicated it would be handled internally, and we should all drop it. The press dutifully obeyed, and I'm scared that meant the fans too. I believe we must all obey the very word of Lil Itty Bitty Nick.

So was Doc Holiday 😉.
But tis a noble profession
So if you are in Germany I guess you are a Zahnarzt?

To the Germans. But the vast majority of my patients are Americans.

I wanted the name Doc Voliday for a twitter handle, but it was taken. Oddly, I've never seen it on Vol Twitter.

Toughest Stadium for opposing teams? Honestly there are a few that come to mind for being the toughest historically. But I’ll keep my answer in the SEC and say that historically it’s between Tiger and Neyland Stadium. Tiger bc let’s be honest, who in their right mind is very comfortable with 100,000+ Cajuns yelling at and pissed off at them? Neyland bc it’s also 100,000+ and if I’m not mistaken TN does have the record for wins in their home Stadium. So which one?

Well, you guys embarrassed a very good LSU team in Tiger Stadium last year so historically I’ll give Neyland the win here. It also doesn’t hurt that opposing teams might fear titleists raining down on them if they piss off the 100,000+ fans there. That last bit was mostly a joke but honestly if I were a college kid playing there in a close game, I’d probably keep on my helmet at any sign of a questionable call.

As far as the toughest right now? You know my answer. Neyland can prove me wrong on Nov. 18 and I’ll sadly tip my hat. Until then it’s Sanford.

I would rank Tennessee number 3 behind Georgia and Alabama as the toughest place to play.

Imo It’s the Swamp then Tiger Stadium then Neyland and Bryant Denny although Jordan Hare is a loud stadium too and can get loud and rocking on occasion.

I don’t know. I like to pump sunshine as much as the next guy, but… A few years ago I would’ve said it was the most intimidating. Even with our success last year, I wouldn’t say that we are head and shoulders above the rest of the SEC anymore. Now… when we fit 107,000 people into the stadium… that was intimidating as hell. Now we are still louder than most due to the design but we need sustained success over a period of time to reclaim that title. Our home record over the past 15 years has been pedestrian at best. When we are winning, we are at the top, but we lost to GA State at home.

There’s a handful of places to play that are in contention for the loudest ( Neyland, Swamp, Death Valley, maybe UGA). Alabama is not even close. I’d say they are middle of the pack in the conference when it comes to fan noise

Josh Pate a very objective and well traveled analyst said Neyland was the loudest place he’s been. He’s been to every stadium that would challenge us
