Tour of practice facility

The new student dorms threw me off for a minute. I just wonder where all those kids will park once it's built? They used to have a gravel parking lot there and some fraternity house there before that IIRC. Campus has changed so much since I enrolled in 08 and graduated in '13.

SIAP, but I'd really like to go on a tour of the stadium/practice facility. Any suggestions on who to contact to be able to do this?

Thanks.

Wow I had no idea that most of this was going on, it's been awhile since I have wandered around campus. In that picture of the new dorms going up; is your back to the pedestrian mall and the backside of Hess? Just trying to figure out where those are.

they are directly across from the old student health center and HPER

New Dorms are west of Hess Hall (The Zoo). Check Google Earth. Gibbs Hall is still on the boards.

Great Pics. My favorite is the Main Entrance to Neyland and the cantilever over Alumni Gym. I am an Architect and that's where it all began for me. Would love to get a copy of that one.

The Hill is a gorgeous location for a university and it is really starting to live up to its potential. I love just about everything they've done in the last few years. Thanks for posting.

Ayres, Neyland and Vol Navy on the Tennessee River seen from above is probably the most awesome scene in all of sport.

Great pics! The place has changed even since I was there at the beginning of June. Especially the upstairs outside the meeting rooms/auditorium. Thanks for sharing them, I feel like I'm standing on holy ground walking around that place.

Haha wow. Yeah it's definitely changed since 04. Notably Haslam Business building and Music building, moneywall/parking garage gone, Aconda court gone, new dorms being built, and of course, Neyland renovations. I don't know if I will recognize it in 5 or so years

I am not sure if they give out tours, but maybe they will when the facility is finished.

I could post a larger version of that photo, or PM you on here (if this site even has that?)

Don't forget the awesome sculpture on Pedestrian Walkaway.....

I def think The Hill doesn't get as much love as it should. Maybe it is the walk up the stairs that turns people off, but I love being up there.
