Transfer Portal 21-22

I think some think it's bad to post it here because it's a site for Lady Vol basketball, not for bikini pics. She didn't post them here, someone brought them here.

This site also talks about players from 14-17, HS kids. And I don't see how the parents of those young girls would be happy about see those pictures here and the comments by the posters ogling the young lady. 21 years old or not.

It's just in bad taste and if I was the moderator they would have been deleted by now.

Some people would rather be outwardly horny on this board than discuss basketball. Also the demogrphic of people that typically go on and on about the looks of young women tend to be middle aged and older men. I don't care if she's "of age" or not, that's creepy AF, either way. If you're old enough to be someone's parent, it's probably best to not do stuff like that. Of course, we really don't know the age or gender of people on a message board unless they volunteer that info, but I think a lot of people (including myself) assuming it's a horny old man doing it when it happens, especially given our fanbase in general is an older one, which adds to the creep factor. Either way, it's weird. Maybe stuff that's been posted on IG should stay there, especially thirst trap photos. I mean ... you can't save pics from IG without taking a screenshot and there's likely a reason for that.

I think Salary can be a scoring pg with another year. Isn't her long ball about as good now as Rae's was as a freshman? And she's quick and plays good D. I loved the way she tied up the GA player with 12 seconds left. That was gutsy.

Noticed Reese was back for Maryland which surprised me. I thought she was done for the season. With her back and Styles there now Mimi’s minutes are going to go away. She had a couple good games but she’s not as good as Reese or Styles so will be the third option in that rotation now. Especially as Angel gets healthy.

If Reese is back to full speed by the tournament Maryland might win it all. They have the size and speed to do it. Both Miller and Reese are tall but very quick. Tough matchup for anyone.
lol Id take Mimi back with open arms if she ever wanted to come back

Me too. Was sad she left. She’ll get time there but not much with all the duplicates they have at her position
If Bibby elects to graduate on time, her minutes will be available for Mimi next season. She's not a very polished player, but she's a hard-nosed one...and that is a valuable asset for a team.

Transfer portal presents Bibby and Benzan saved Maryland's season this year.

Were you talking about balls? If you weren’t talking about balls. I don’t care.

Just my opinion why not go after Chelsie Hall i think she is an upgrade over Walker we can agree to disagree and i respect your post.

Hall would be a significant upgrade over what we have now at point guard... which is a real indictment on how wretched the position has been this season...

Lol who said?
I cannot find the article, but she had said she was nearly committed to Holly before suffering an injury and Holly backed off.

edit: Women's Hoops Picks Up Coveted Commitment Sunday Night

"I had basically every SEC school except for Mississippi State and South Carolina," Dumitrescu said. "I was kind of committed to Tennessee at one time, but they backed off when I broke my hand."

Dumitrescu broke her hand six months ago but is now fully recovered.

Just watch a podcast from Bluestar Recruiting service and he said he thought that there might be close to 1000 players in the transfer portal this year. It now sits at about 200 plus so that is another close to 800 players. I don't see that many but that is what he said so we'll see if is anywhere near that many.

I hope we are looking hard at the portal to obtain some dead-eye shooters who can also handle the ball and a quality big.

I’ll bet that’s close. COVID has been a great unifier for some teams. It’s been a great divider for others.

Tough seasons with the stops and starts. Difference in opinion on protocol. Maybe even due to variants in state regulations, I think we could see a lot of players headed to states like Florida. With their wide open mentality it’s sure to attract some who are ‘over it’. Especially for the kids who’ve already been sick. Conversely some may choose to play in states/programs being more cautious if they felt unheard.

Definitely going to be a lot of people trying to get closer to home. Flying is not as thoughtless as it once was. Being a car drive from home suddenly became way more attractive when travel was severely disrupted.

We will be much better next year without her. We already have too many turnovers.

That's not that many TOs in 19 games. But that's a pedestrian number of assists. The shooting is terrible. The team (UTSA) is one of the worst in the nation 2-17 overall and 0-14 in conference. Losers of 15 in a row. Nope!
