I had assumed she had redshirted as a freshman but she played in 10 games. If she does want to play significantly, I think her super senior year would be the year, unless something were to happen to Key before then. If I were her and had been a LV fan since 8 years old, I would take that extra year and leave with a free graduate-level degree and any number of employment options.

It's been discussed that it's closer to her boyfriend but i'm going to say MD is a place that allows scorer to score and pick and play defense when you want. She can put up points that fits their M.O.

I can’t explain why, but the words “Maryland women’s basketball” inspire about as much enthusiasm in me as burnt toast. Maybe it’s because they’re never on our schedule, I don’t know. Just … meh.

So for the life of me I can’t wrap my head around great players going there. Plain burnt toast. 😶

They beat us in the S16 in 2014 and the E8 the next year. I’d love to face them this year.

She forgot the part where her boyfriend is only about 2 hours away! More power to her and wish her all the best at UMD

Yeah. Acting like she chose the “culture and history” of UMD over UT is a laugh to me. Maryland does not have a good culture. That’s why she has so many transfer in/out and only won one natty almost 20 years ago. Mostly thanks to her assistant coaches who actually coach defense.

I think it was a good miss if we were ever in consideration I don't think she fits in well with us if she is more interested in boyfriend over winning basketball. Not that she can't win at Maryland, but how distracted will she be if she is burning up the freeway to Philadelphia every chance she gets.

I could make the case that as others have stated she could have easily been a distraction to the chemistry. With humor I also recognize that during these months of "recruitment mentality" the boarders are having many conversations on each and every name that appears. to quote a recent post "I need a commitment"
