Uh, the coaches are so selective about who they want on the team that we landed 1 recruit in 2 years--and she the wrong selection.

Kinda tough to know without being privy to the conversations between the staff and the candidate.

Still really like Coulibaly’s game but I’d rather see us go for a younger post unless Blanca Thomas is likely coming.

Still wondering about Amauri Williams.

We actually could use Bianca more so than Coulibaly at this point with the spear addition. Maybe we wanted coulibaly and she took to long to make her decision and when spear entered the portal is was a no brainer. I would not mind still getting coulibaly but the issue has dimmed a bit with the new commit. Coulibaly can play the 4 position though so we may need her after all lol

Agree, I’m wondering is Coulibaly waffled too long. Spears outside shooting ability sets her apart. The three ball is where it’s at.

Y’all have basically said everything I would’ve said by now! I’m finally able to sit down and revel in this win for the program! I’m trying SO hard not to get too excited like last year but O-M-G, the season needs to start tomorrow!

SEC play is going to be SO fun next year!

Spear won't have any trouble getting her shot off, that is for sure.

Not a lot to criticize on the highlights I watched. Of course there is no defense or rebounding on there. Seems really quick laterally so it looks like she could play defense if she put her mind to it. Likes the three ball a lot and has a really good sidestep three. The only thing I noticed is she gets high with her dribble sometimes. That might need to be a little tighter in the SEC but that is nitpicking really.

Looks like what the doctor ordered for the scoring guard spot if she is anything like the highlight tape implies. Won't really know until we see all aspects of her game, consistency, effort etc... and how she fits in with everyone else.
