Im sick and tired of the fans posting on here thinking your not a fan because you see obvious issues with the players, the system and the coach. Your only aloud to post if its something positive. Beating lower ranked teams and getting into the tournament on name alone isnt what we as fans should be settling for. We need a big time coach. And as bad as i hate Mulkey i wish to God we had hired her. Even the Iowa coach would be an upgrade. The Pat Summitt coaching tree isnt the answer. We need fresh fews with offense first frame of mind. Solid defense only works when you have fast footed athletic jumping girls who can stay in front of the person they are guarding. 2023 recruiting. ZERO signed players. ZERO!!! How the heck do you not sign at least one top 50 recruit as coach of the Lady Vols. Piss poor coaching for the last several years shows the product you are putting on the floor. And before you call that an attack on players. NO. Its coach not calling timeout to stop runs. Coach not making these players take better care of the ball. Not getting these girls into some sort of an offense. This standing around and dribbling for 20 seconds and then firing up whatever shot you can force isnt an offense. The program is sinking further and further with each passing season we are stuck with a coach who thinks she can revive whatever juice is left in the PS legacy. Its not happening. There is no Candace Parkers lining up to play for us. Danny White needs to make a tough call. Next year may force his hands.

The way to early top 25 for next year has the Lady Vols at 11. What did they honestly do to make anyone think the are even top 20. We lose Horston. Our guard play was questionable at best. I want to see what happens the rest of the off season with the portal before im ready to say they are even a ranked team. This is clearly RJs team. But i hope Pissett takes a huge step forward next season. You cant let a McDonalds all american go wasted another season. She should have played way more and been aloud to learn as she grew. The freshman season was a waste for her. We need her height and speed on the floor.

Gosh idk maybe being in the Sweet 16. It’s like mayyybeeee that’s the top 16 teams in the country or something.

Lmao you beat me to it. cwbytruckers, you can go after the “sunshine pumpers” but you’re being quite extreme in the other direction here. There’s a lot of gray space between being perfectly satisfied with this past season and thinking we only got into the tournament on name alone. Give me a break.

Geno and Tara(Pat being the other)2 of the GOATS in women's basketball got beat before the Final 4 as well. That was a bad loss for Stanford and almost feel like Tara is close to retiring. Forget she will be 70 soon. Unfortunately Geno still has the best roster next season, barring injuries. Kellie did beat Kim and LSU in case others have forgotten that. If I were being honest I don't see Harper ever getting to a Final 4 unless she starts recruiting better and somehow runs a more efficient offense against the elite of women's basketball.

What’s the point of signing a top 50 player if it’s not the one you truly want? Then when you “recruit over them” in the portal everyone complains or complains that you signed them. Over half of them are in the portal after their freshman year and you can likely get the one you wanted as a sophomore or realize that another one fits your system after seeing them as a Freshman playing for another team. Look at how many from the last 2 recruiting classes have already entered the portal.

I watched every game this season including the one win they had over a ranked opponent in LSU. That i dont see them winning 3 out of 10 against. Lost every other ranked matchup. SADLY

Isn't funny how Kim Mulkey always calls out Pat Summitt as part of the reason she coaches the way she does. Pat was her Olympic Coach and is one of 2 coaches she consistently attributes her coaching style to.

She always speaks highly of Pat, I remember she said no matter how many championships anyone wins, Pat will always be the best. I think that was a shot as Geno as well.

Definitely was. Kim knows Geno hasn’t done a thing to advance the sport. Only to advance UCONN. He’s in it for him, not for the women.
