North Carolina getting Maria Gakdeng what a sad day for me. She is going to make them so much better in the post something they didn't have much of last season. Only a sophomore a real pickup for NC.

is this forum a vehicle to express opinion......
or to support the team and program
and if it is to support the program..... is that meaning through only opinions which are positive or seen as positive?

I like Poole, very hard working player but Owusu is a much better player when she is healthy IMO.

Also Williams isn’t a PG. She’s a wing/SG

But I'll be interested to see where she ends up. I won't pretend to know the ins and outs but the way things ended for her at VT seemed ugly all around from all sides

Ehh she’s a combo guard who has no problem handling the ball.

Paris Clark is still a player I hope we look at. Nice combo guard with the athleticism we need. Better shooting touch than Wynn and potential to be a great defender.

Started to get more minutes the last third of the season and was more productive. Hard to judge because AZ seems like a dumpster fire to me.

Not sure what "support the program" means on a fan message board. What's said here means nothing towards the progrram, positive or negative.

Some people prefer a board where no criticism is ever allowed, and fortunately for them there is one of those, though I believe it's a pay board. But on a board like this, you can support, accept, not support, opine, criticise, doesn't matter bc we realize we don't matter. Just blabbing.

Bottom line is that now she gets to experience some backlash out on social media for her tweets on the matter. Do you think her tweets are going to endear her to potential incoming transfers and high school recruits?

Seriously? She was talking to Oregon about their opening while still coaching Arizona. She left for money. Do you not see the parallels to what she is complaining about now? Even one of her former Duck players is calling her out for being a hypocrite.

Kennedy Todd Williams was a great pick up for Ole Miss. Columbia would have been closer home. Not hearing anything about Dawn's portal efforts.

You never will. She is always quiet on that front choosing to keep it close to the vest like many coaches do. She will bring in 1-2 players this year if she finds the right fit, she is very selective. She has ten rostered players and could go a season with that many but it is not ideal so I have no doubts she is looking and evaluating.

I wouldn’t be shocked if she brought in Prince. She’s had health issues but y’all are going to need a back-up in the most. She certainly has the talent just hasn’t ever had the motor she needs imo.

Dawn could be the one for her. That’s one thing I do love about Staley’s players. They give their all out there or they sit the bench.

I think so too, she and Reese were hanging out in Dallas. Don’t think she would go anywhere else.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Owusu ends up there as well. Not sure if Kim will go for that or not. She likes taking on a project but Owusu is a mental and physical project at this point.

Rogers teammate PauPau (sp?) is looking for a new home as well….bundled package? LSU under Kim is super aggressive in the portal, they are going to land 2-3 of the best available I think. I’m not looking forward to our game in BR next year, Kim has some revenge in mind.

Wonder who the Oregon Asst. Coach was referring to?

Man I could see that. If they land both of them they will be dangerous. Best team in the country to start the season by far if they had that lineup.

I wouldn’t know on that. I think her comments were silly though. NIL essentially turned athletes into employees. They’re now behaving as such. That’s life.

Owusu to SC is a possibility ....her personality is what has rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way with her last 2 programs . MD , VT but she has talent . Tough to call if shes worth the risk .
