When’s the last day to take portals

The timeline is more due to when the spring semester starts for the athletes to be able to enroll and be eligible.

We should have at least this round of transfers figured out by January 22 at the latest. Other schools have an earlier timeline of the 11th.

People like Harris or Evan Stweart should find a home before January 16th. I think the net few days will be interesting on who goes into the portal after the bowls.

The next big portal window will be after spring ball to be able to enroll for the summer semester.

Agree, we need Utley and Hall. Vitally important. But we need guys who can step in in 2025 and play interior DLine. I have faith in Hobbs. Sounds like the word around the team is that Jayson Jenkins is developing into a stud. Jamal Wallace will likely redshirt in 2024 to develop. How are Duncan and Robinson developing? Will guys like Tyre West and/or Weathersby move inside?

I have faith that Garner can develop those guys to reach their potential, but I’d like another good one to throw into the mix, given how many guys he likes to play. And I don’t wanna be counting on true freshmen, unless they’re maybe the 5th/6th guys in the rotation.
