I thought it was interesting that the schools can contact the players.I figured the player had to contact the school.

Look at the date and the time on the article smarta** and read it.The NCAA just clarified the ruling this morning.That's what i always wondered about some people on here.If you have nothing good to say about the post why the hell comment on it.Must not be the same thing that was posted 500 times yesterday or it would get merged.

It was there in the NCAA rulebook for everyone to see. It was reported numerous times yesterday. On here, in the recruiting section, etc

I agree. GoVols has added nothing to this topic. I actually learned something from the article--that other coaches can contact the players.

Tennessee needs a QB. I have to believe Mustaine is available. We should should at least make the inquiry.

Sorry i didn't have my rulebook handy and somehow i listen more to what the NCAA has to say about the interpretation than some random Volnation poster.That's the only thing I don't like about this site is certain people just look for posts to say something smarta** about the post, something negative about the poster, look for a misspelled word or a grammatical error.When I search the posts I look for a post that interests me and i have a similar or opposite view about.I don't see the need to just comment to say something negative.That's just me.

I'm not here to argue or put people down.I'm here to simply post threads and reply to threads that interest me in a way that doesn't offend or anger anyone.I hate these threads that get off subject for like the whole thread.Can we get back to the subject please.

I'm here, in part, to derail redundant threads. And put people down.

But seriously, you have to understand why you are being given a hard time. This has been a hot topic since late Wednesday night, and you are acting like this thread is breaking it open. I know no one has the chance to read every post in every thread at all times, but couldn't this have been in the USC penalties thread, or the half a dozen threads about trying to take players from USC?

EDIT: And I am not trying to be the police, I am just telling you why you are being poked fun at.
