I really can't see Meyer leaving Florida, he's got it made there with Zooks recruits there and the Tebow kid coming in.

where's this rumor even coming from? meyer even issued a statement earlier today that said that he has no plans of coaching this fall.

Id say probably only if OSU wasnt in trouble.But I dont see him doing it with all the trouble headed OSUs way.

This fall and next fall are different. Interim coach through 2011-2012 season...hire Meyer(or other coach) after season is finished.

My aunt is a graduate of Ohio State's Law School and knows several people up there. Take this with a grain of salt but she is saying that there is only one name even being mentioned up there, and it's Meyer.

They can mention it all they want, Meyer will not be coaching at OSU this coming year and if they get hit with a decent length of probation, there is absolutely no way Meyer coaches there.

That boy won't be able to run over SEC defenses with Meyers option offense. Can't wait to see him get knocked out when he faces a real defense.

I can't for my life figure out why so many OSU fans expect Meyer to be the head coach in 2012.

I hate to even mention this since I've played the "my cousin's wife's dad's employer, etc" and "Gruden bought a house in Knoxville" game before BUT I did have a friend, who has contacts in Columbus, tell me that the rumor up there is that Meyer bought some land there 2 weeks ago. Like I said, I know Gruden bought some land in Knoxville and Lovie is on a plane from Chicago but thought I'd throw this out there since you brought it up...sort of.

I really wouldn't think Meyer would take this job with the uncertainty of penalties but Urban has proven to be a different character over the years.

Honestly, I'd love to see the reaction of Gator fans if he does take that job.

The same reasons so many on this board, and within the fanbase, thought Gruden was our next HC.

Shaded glasses and ignorance. So many connections, and "book it" predicitions will go very wrong. Like our version of "Vol-Lock".
