Tressel Vs. Pearl

What tressel did is far worse. Pearl lied about a cookout. Tressel knowing played ineligible players all year.

I quess we'll know how much hot water CJT is in after UT goes in front of the infractions board. If we (Bball) get any post season bans, lost scholorships ext and if Pearl gets suspended then we will have a baseline for what OSU is looking at.

Personally I think CJT should get at least 1 1/2 times the punishment Pearl gets.

Tressel makes Pearl look like a small-time piker. He sat on his lies and such for nearly a year. Then lied about it at a presser. Wonder how those book sales are progressing.

This is fascinating. It's like watching a movie you've already seen, but everyone else in the theatre doesn't know the ending.

With all that happenned to Bruce, we've analyzed the whole deceiving the NCAA thing to death, and the fact that of ~90 coaches who have done it, 87 of them have been fired. At best he has a year + suspension.

Therefore IMHO Tressel is a dead man walking, yet OSU is doing the same thing UT did early on - try to walk the tightrope and find a way to keep him.

To be honest, I do not like OSU, and so I am content to watch him dangle at the end of the noose for another six months or so (NCAA hearing in August + appeal) and then have to let him go.

For now I'm just going to sit here and watch the movie play out.

And smile.

So, who does tOSU get when CJT is gone? I'm skeptical on CUM landing there.

Super post. The entire world knows that the ncaa has set a precedent and have to suspend Tressel and give osu at least what usc got. Even osu administration has to know this. They just are stuck with ending the best run in osu history. hahahahaha
