Against arguably the best D in college football. And we get to face him in September on the road!

I guess there are two ways to look at it. Part of me thinks we should lighten up on the schedule while in rebuilding mode.

The other part thinks, hey, these young kids (including this upcoming stellar recruiting class) are sure taking some lumps, but when 2015 and 2016 roll around it might just pay off.

I guess I'll go with the second one....why not? :)

In the meantime, any thought I had of us upsetting OU just went out the window. :banghead2:

minus Roy Finch, Brennan Clay ,Lacoltan Bester, 3 OL, starting TE and Jalen Saunders. he will still have Sterling though. But yes he looked great. Bama's Secondary was awful as well.

We got a chance to upset OU. They are a team that has been known to sometimes choke in games that they were favored in *cough* Texas *cough*

Way to go Sooners! Woohoo, a Bammer loss is worth at least 1/2 Vol win IMO.
I hope nobody expected us to go into Norman and win without a miracle next year anyway.

Well now I do appreciate them beating bammer.

I plan to go to Norman this fall, so I hope we can give them a game. Not holding my breath though.

Bama's secondary makes our look great. Makes you wonder what we could've done with 2012's O.

Yeah....so many on here quickly forget how much offensive firepower we lost to the NFL....pretty much all of it.

Then in turn want to complain at the lack of offensive production...but post on here about CP's kick returns for TD's or JH's performance in a game....then not realize it :loco: huh?

Maybe our Redshirt Freshman QB will have a break out season next year as well....we are due for somebody to have one.

I think the last 2 games exposed 'Bama's defense as over-rated. They are GOOD but not great. Auburn ran on them and the Sooners pushed their secondary into submission. GO BIG ORANGE!

Eh, Bama and the Sooners can both suck it, I hate em'.

People that thought we were going to Norman and win even before last nights game are and were completely out of touch with reality.

Bama's D played terrible. Michigan State had a much better D IMO. Been a while since Saban has had back to back losses, seems like an eternity.

Bama's defense wasn't all that impressive at times this year. Not sure that was the best defense in the nation. I would take Mich St's defense over theirs this year.

'08 SECCG and Sugar Bowl is the last I remember.

Both cases I think the team was disappointed about missing the NCG and phoned it in.

Okie took a page from Auburn's playbook and picked Bama apart. Couldn't have happened to a finer bunch of smug Bammers. Thanks, Stoops.

We've also got more than just a chance, but a great probability to get blown to pieces.

I'm with ya, I just don't want OU '14 to turn into Oregon '13. People started to really believe we could beat those guys and then melted down big time when we didn't.

This team hasn't shown me they have what it takes to win on the road against really anybody, let alone a team that just manhandled Alabama. I'm hoping we can change our road game woes next year at Ole Miss & Vandy.

This team is not beating Oklahoma in Norman

Hell, we couldn't beat Vandy at home to make a bowl game

But we will have people calling for an upset, only to be upset at the final outcome

UT never had much of a chance to beat OU. Last night changed nothing.

It's already started, Count. People are already talking about Oklahoma like they are weak or ready for the upset. UT loses by 3-4 touchdowns.
