Trevor Knight looked fantastic tonight

I'd also say Bama didn't care to be in this one and Oklahoma actually decided to live up to the hype. Even if OU is overrated next year as usual its still a loss.

Back when Tennessee scheduled the OU series, Lane Kiffin was here. My boss at the time is from OK and is a big OU fan. I let him know good and well that Lane would have us ready to whoop up on 'em by 2014. It's a good thing I'm at a different company now!

I personally thought Alabama made the SEC look very bad last night.... I know this is a simplistic statement but with all of the incredible talent many of them rated number one at their positions Alabama should never ever ever lose especially to and Oklahoma sooners team that had so many injured and players out ....I was really surprised that Alabama got out coached and outplayed as badly as I did.... Saban was outcoached his last two games when he had the definite advantage of talent.... And the next obvious point is ......that's what you got for $7 million!!!

People talk about the koolaid drinkers that come on here predicting victory and yet there are as many that come on here and wouldn't even have us making the trip. Seems we're either definitely going to win or definitely going to lose. How about some middle ground and say we got a puncher's chance at least.

AJ lost that game...simple as that...you get to a bowl game and the players look around and if the game rolls their way they play hard...but it doesn't take much for the players to quit if the momentum flips.. AJ 50.9 - 2 interceptions and fumble was not AJ like....D quit

Not too confident we will beat them next season. Really young team in what will be just the 3rd game of some their young career's. 2015 in Neyland on the other hand could be a different story.

While I would love to win at Oklahoma next year I have no expectations to......that to me is ridiculous pressure to put on this team,

I am one of those that would prefer us to buy out of the OU game next season. I believe we have a slim chance of an upset, but would rather be playing a gimme game vs. some other team. It is my opinion that Trevor Knight and OU as a whole isn't as good as they appeared to be against Bama. Hopefully OU lays a big egg when they play us, over the last few years they seem to do that at least once a season.

We've also got more than just a chance, but a great probability to get blown to pieces.

I'm with ya, I just don't want OU '14 to turn into Oregon '13. People started to really believe we could beat those guys and then melted down big time when we didn't.

People meltdown when we lose whether they believe we can win or not. Blaming those who believe in the team is just silly. I've seen plenty of so-called cynics produce epic meltdowns even though they told everyone 'don't get your hopes up!' and those who've never said one word meltdown as well. Do your thing, be a cynic or be an optimist or be something in between, but don't worry about other people's reactions.

Bama didn't have 'false hopes' and fans melted down at the loss. It happens and such is life. Hell, I've seen Tennessee and LSU fans have meltdowns after winning.

It was a tad discouraging to see OU execute a perfect offensive game plan with high tempo run by a RS freshman with 4 weeks prep time and we couldn't get it half way perfected after a full offseason and season of prep.

Our freshman QB was not a redshirt and didn't have a full off-season...otherwise GREAT POINT!!!!

Try again dude. As you said yourself OUs QB was a redshirt freshman so he had a year to learn the system. None of our QBs had a year to learn and just when Worley started to play well he broke his hand and a 18 true freshman was forced to play.

If we pulled Adoree and started he and Sutton at the corners against Oklahoma, I honestly think they'd have to beat us on the ground...

Obviously that's a big if.... But it would make the game a lot more interesting.

You guys have the reading comprehension of a 3 year old. My point was that OU installed an UPTEMPO offense and ran it to perfection in 4 weeks, with a RS frosh QB nonetheless. Compared to our offense, which did have a spring, summer, and Fall season to work on installing UPTEMPO which at best looked mediocre at times.

Knight played very well but that's something he has lacked all year. We can definitely beat OU but it will be tough and we can see the talent they have from the Bama game. Bama's defense has a secondary that I would consider average to above average but nonetheless they are stacked with talent. I'm hoping Stoops rides high on his SEC comments and they overlook us.

It's not that hard to run basically the same style play of with a little more speed between plays.

Can't throw the ball if you are on your back or running for your life, all game. The loss isn't on AJ.

They had 4 weeks to watch film on Bama and prepare for the game as opposed to one week.
