Do you think Trooper Taylor could handle the job as Offensive Coordinator?

Have you noticed how hard these backs run? They fight for every yard they can get. I know they have lost the ball some but Trooper has these backs running harder than any in a while. I really think he should be promoted. He is one hell of a motivator.

i believe he's by far the only offensive coach that should be retained. i wouldn't even mind seeing him be offensive coordinator as long as phil let's him call the plays.

Trooper doesn't coach scared, and so his backs don't run scared.

I hope your wrong. They were pretty good under Cut with BD at the helm.

But you have to understand THIS...CPF decides what the O will be. So the OC does not have free rein.

CPF prefers to run the ball--didn't you hear RS say that during a post-game radio interview at the end of one of the past games?

Just because you change OC's does not guarantee any better results.

Also, the O-team needs a lot more DESIRE than they currently have. Too many thoroughbreds in the barn with no desire.

He could have more free reign as of who's face he can get in and who he can motivate. Or we can have the clapping guys of PF and RS applauding on every mistake we make. Man that irritates me.

So you don't like the clapping, but chest bumping qualifies TT to be the offensive coordinator.

I never understand what makes people think TT would be a good coordinator. I think he's been a great addition to the staff, but I honestly have no earthly idea whether he would make a good OC. What have you seen that makes you think TT should be calling plays?

I just love the fact he coaches with heart. Nobody knows if he has a playbook worth squat, but I just know mentally and physically his guys are always ready. I'm not even saying give him the job, but I don't think he is scared or as conservative as Mr. RS. He dosen't chest bump them when they screw up. They (PF and RS) clap about everything.

That is the sad thing GAVol. Fact is some of us think anything would be an improvement.

We need a change and TT is probably the best shot at it. From within the coaching parameters already set that is. He loves the players. You can tell. He always jumps up and chest pounds Wilhoit after a field goal, even though he doesn't coach special teams. You saw how hard Foster ran when he was put in. That takes motivation to run that hard when you know you probably won't be starting next week. Although that's not the situation here. He's a motivator. I don't think RS has the capabilities to motivate these players.

Very well said. Just watch Sanders on the sideline, it's like deer in headlights all day.

I agree.

The funny thing is that a lot of people seem to forget what happened the last time we promoted a successful RB coach to offensive coordinator.

with a head coach...offensive and defensive coordinators on the sideline I wonder why anyone would concentrate on trooper taylors reactions after a play???

A coach's reaction says a lot of things about him. When you watch Trooper, you see he gives everything about himself to the team.

Well those are good questions, but ask the same questions about Sanders and you know the answer.

I voted yes. He is the second best coach on the team behind Chief. I think that our next best coach after those two is Larry Slade. He took the weakest part of our D this year and has turned it into one of the best Secondarys in the country. We have only allowed 1 passing TD this year.

I voted yes becasue he has always has a running back ready to run. And like already said he always is in with players. the chest bumps just show the players like him aswell. I say give him a shot...
