Seriously. I do watch UT ball games on the computer and maybe a movie from Hulu a few times a year. But, that's it. I was addicted to TV most of my life like some. I just got tired of it. Don't have a TV or haven't owned one since.

What do you do in your spare time? As a hobby...?

Hike, camp, backpack, fish, photography, create stained glass art, leather craft, play guitar, sight see, road trips, fly stunt kites, golf, etc. No TV=lots of spare time. Researching RC Airplanes this week. Thinking about taking that up, too.

Spent way too much time on here last year. Much less this year. Still probably too much. Still plenty of time for other pursuits.

Couldn't imagine not watching TV for years. That's impressive. I freaked out when my son hid the remote and I couldn't locate it for two days

I used to be that way. If the cable or sat was out, I was mad and on the phone. I see people on here talking about 5 or 6 shows that I might enjoy, but I just don't get motivated to get back in the circle.

I have my shows that I enjoy set to record. It's when I'm just mindlessly channel surfing that I know that it's time to do something productive.

The ability to record was probably one of the best gifts of technology. Today's tech is amazing. Not like the old days that if you weren't in front of a TV set at 11:30 pm on Saturday night, you weren't going to see Saturday Night Live. At least, it's freed folks up so they're not as housebound as they used to be in order to catch the shows. That's a good thing.

I think it's mostly the interest thing with me. I've lost it. I've gone back at watched a few old Twilight Zones or something on Hulu the past year. I have access to free movies through Amazon and haven't watched a one yet. Could be an attention span thing now, though.

It's called aging.
