A big welcome to Rocky Top, Troy Waites! I take my hat off to any young man who is willing to walk on. College is expensive and football will dominate his out-of-class time to say the very least. With his high ACT score, he should be able to get some type of financial assistance. You've got to like a kid who wants to be a Vol and who will walk on. Very best wishes to him and here's looking to his earning a football scholarship.

Yeah I don't get these people who don't think Hurd can be a running back. Obviously they didn't see him play in high school and don't know much about football.

Hurd he punted a couple 70+ and supposedly is down with only punting....We are building a team of specialist and role-players...The big orange storm is coming

Heh. My moms boyfriend was his coach. We were also looking at a kicker from columbia academy (my old high school) who is a big rival to pcs. Logan cooke was his name but he committed to MSU.
