Several Florida outlets reporting it. Apparently Driskel's ankle injury is worse than everyone thought.

This will be interesting.

I want to see Muschamp crying and I want LSU feeling a little too cocky heading into next week. Looks like I might get both!

I bet if they were playing Vanderbilt then you'd see Driskel.

I haven't seen any news on his ankle, I think they were up in the air on their 3 backups. Watching film of Brissett right now, LSU actually tried real hard to sign him and he came for a visit so LSU knows him pretty well. Watching HS film Brissett looks like a real cool cucumber in the pocket and is pretty accurate with his throws and has nice touch, the problem I do see with him is he has no real juice on the ball.

Both guys have good speed but are more a pocket passer type. Brissett actually uses his running ability to avoid the rush but he stays in the pocket. I would think they will get a steady dose of Mathieu off the corner.

This is a classic game for Lsu to have that game where they let uf hang around until the 4th quarter. They should win like 35-14 easy. But I bet Les keeps it close like he usually does. That Gator team is better thhan we were last yr going down there and we almost won. LSU wins but it will be very fun to watch before we beat the dawgs brains out. I mean uf is not uk, they just aren't going down there to quit. The defense has got to feel good as long as the offense doesn't totally self destruct early. Whatever result I will be thoroughly entertained. Because this is the perfect game for Lsu to have before coming to play us.

I believe that anytime Les Miles is on the sideline, the other team has a decent shot to win.

They made very brief mention this morning that the Gators mentioned something about a sprain but no definite reports on whether he will play or not, yet.

And we have a great chance. These too weeks make the season. Even a split would be nice. But I say LSU wins a close one because the Gators have a top 10 defense. The injury to Brantley and took it out of them. If Brantley wasn't hurt that game would have been around 31-20 bama. The Gators fought the entire 3rd quarter but got woar down by #3. I beat they run a lot of option. But I also think October is ours!!!

I've heard this from several people close to the team as well.

Driskel hasn't practiced much all week.

UF has a shot if 2010 UT could go 1-1 against LSU on the same day with Simms at QB.

Weis' playcalling sucked all day. Didnt matter who was behind center, if you are going to be that predictable, you will never beat a team of that caliber.
