True Random Thoughts

The society of American neurology has said humans begin to lose cognitive ability in our twenties/thirties. Yet another faux reason for millennials to disrespect their elders.
 
How come when you pop the ice out of the top ice tray, the ice comes out perfect. Like somebody sprayed cooking spray in the tray before putting in the water. But the ice in the tray on the bottom comes out like it's been blasted with dynamite into millions of little pieces?

This is a super cereal random thought and might deserve a thread of it's own.

I'm sure the joke about it went over my head, but here's the story anyway. I'm a fan of MI and look forward to this one.

‘Mission Impossible 7’ Train Crash Stunt Leaks in Set Video

From a set and event that reportedly took months to set up, locals in Derbyshire, England, were able to film the last moments of a purpose built locomotive as it sped along a piece of track which came to an abrupt end over a quarry.
 
We have Apaches, Blackhawks and Stallions flyover all the time. Going to make a "LAND HERE FOR BEER" sign to hold up next time they do their low passes over the house.
That should work!

When I lived in NE... the National Guard flew Hueys over my house during their monthly drills... and for me that always stopped me in my tracks, such a haunting sound from years ago.
 
In the 90s, when teens and twenty-somethings were peppering their speech with text shorthand (OMG! TTFN!), I would engage them on the parallel of their text-talk and the military’s use of acronyms.

Ah, to be the weird old guy on purpose…
