True Random Thoughts

Does it help that I was a DJ at a teen disco in the late 80s and can probably still break dance
I was a announcer and studio engineer in 1979 and 1980. I DJed a bluegrass show, afternoon drive time on a pop country station, the Sunday afternoon classic country show, and programmed “Ollie” for the incipient urban contemporary FM station.

Coastys wife has been trying to lose about 200 lbs too, be he keeps finding his way back.
Well as I weigh 270 lbs and am 6'3" tall losing 200 lbs might be a hard mountain to climb. I guess nothing is impossible but very very unlikely.

Ideally you should try to lose around 50 lbs.
I wish. That's why I have been lifting weights and running on the treadmill. Muscle weighs more than fat but I might be able to trim down my waste line. I am trying not to eat as much food that is fattening.

Fish and eggs. Avocados and vegetables. Olive oil.

No sweets. No bread or pasta. No fried stuff.

Metamucil.

Walk.

Thanks doc, but My doc said it was a very safe and healthy diet. Nothing was wildy set off and over the course of a year I averaged losing a pound a week.
It a smart diet imo. We eat a lot of the same types of food. Problem is we have rice with just about every meal in our household. I don’t really feel full without it now. Thankfully I don’t need Metamucil yet.

Had step thing on phone, went from 235 to 195. Switched phones and went back to 215. Reinstalled and back to 200 now.
Yeah, it's not just the steps. It's the sleep, body composition, ekg, stress and the reminders, calender and alarms.

The health functions seem to be pretty accurate overall, but I'm confident in their consistency and that's key. I keep a daily log of everything and enjoy tweaking the numbers.

I use the alarms, reminders and calender for meds and vitamins as well as peace of mind.

I need the Metamucil, but it also helps with suppressing my appetite. I don't crave sweets as much when I drink one in the morning and one in the afternoon. But, I mix it with my ginger/turmeric juice which helps with that too.
