Trump Agrees To Leave Office On January 20th

The way this President was treated by both parties will probably keep me on the voting sidelines from now on. An outsider doesn't stand a chance, and an insider isn't going to change anything.
I feel the same way especially after Blackburn, Hargerty and Scott Desjarlais flip flop. Screw the GOP. I need to change my party affiliation with my county

Still hasn't conceded and offered to work together with incoming administration for the benefit of the nation.

Go back and look at Hillary's remarks after she lost a bitter and odd result. Not seething resentment. Wished him well and said she hoped he'd be successful.

Night and day. And just appalling that Trump STILL won't simply admit he lost ?
If you believe that about Hillary as being honest, I have got this ocean front lot in Kansas I would like to sell you.

Bull. Hillary is still seething. While Trump was wrong in the way he condoned or incited it, People need to realize that the anger that was seen yesterday--That fuse was lit long before Trump became President.

Plenty of videos out there about your boy, he's all yours own it. No more "but but but Trump" Now you all have to defend your corrupt hero
Don’t have to defend anybody yet. Trump got what he earned. Biden will get what he earns. Pretty simple concept really. But I know simple concepts slip past you guys sometimes so I’m happy to explain them for you.

If the poor and minorities can go spend their food stamps, pay their cell phone bill, riot in the streets, burn down Autozones, etc., they can get out and go vote. That's a copout of pure BS. There are now, and have always been procedures in place to be able to vote if you legitimately cannot get out, or are abroad.

Your right, I would hate for drumpf to be disenfranchised. He feeds off the government and votes by mail.

I dont support any of those things either, but I'm assuming he is going to be involved in other decisions that may directly affect me. Perhaps I'm wrong and I should wish he should screw everything up.
But you voted for his demented ass

So you’re suggesting that living for 33 years in the outskirts of ATL makes you more knowledgeable about this past election more expert that those tasked with that task. There was no fraud. Get over it

No. He said I probably didn't know anything about ATL and demographics. I merely pointed out I was from around there. Comprehension was meant to be derived from reading.

I sat here watching them come in. Granted, Dekalb County was pathetically slow and mail in voting was taken advantage of, but the votes were there. This is on Trump for pushing a narrative and a disastrous phone call on Saturday. That's the only way to explain Perdue going from a 1.8% win in the general to a .8% loss in the runoff.

That begs another question. If a 1.8% margin was narrow enough for a runoff, why did .8% deficit cause him to lose??

BTW, how's the travelling going. Have you been shut down too much or business as usual. Been through Griffin lately. I've just had no desire to go back and visit.

What I saw of Loeffler on TV, she might have had more to do with her fate than Trump. That is a very stiff lady. Or atleast she sure came across that way. Perdue, from reports of his idleness in staying out there may have hurt himself as well. I'm sure trump didn't help, but you gotta wonder how much they hurt themselves. Trump made their rally about him taking prods at Pence. But, for those that threw their hands up in defeat after his grand standing, the margin was still narrow enough if the voters had voted anyway....

All that matters in a general election in GA is 50% +1 vote and Perdue missed getting there by about 10k. This same thing happened to Wyche Fowler back in the 80s. He won the general but then lost to Paul Coverdell in a runoff. The system is completely archaic.

I’m sort of in a scaled back version of business as usual. Basically have cut out all cold calls and drop ins and it’s strictly by appointment. People’s willingness to meet in person ranges from glad to talk to anybody to OMG stay away from my office. You just never know what you’re going to get.

It’s pure comedy to watch a couple of minutes of Fox and then flip to a couple of minutes of CNN. They’re living in separate universes and I don’t think either are the one I’m in.

It's called the "Rashomon" effect, named for the 1950 Japanese film. It's when the circumstances surrounding an event are given differing testimonial accounts based on the individual motives, perspectives and objectivity of the person describing the same fundamental truth. Each individual arrives at that same truth: for example, there was a riot at the Capitol. It's how we arrived at that truth, where accounts will differ.

This is a cultural phenomenon which has been frequently explored in television shows such as Happy Days (an episode where Potsy accidentally shot Fonzie in the butt).
