There was a thread a few months ago where I proposed across the board cuts of 10%. Beyond that, social programs could be cut 1/2 as much as defense. Cut defense 5%...automatic 2.5% cut to social programs.

Luther is here in an existential crisis. Socialism can't exist except through a high tax burden. That high tax burden is levied by high government spending. Yet luther is a socialist that claims to want to lower government spending.

Even if he started a thread about it months ago, that was just another case of either bald lies, or his own existential dilemma.

You say that public education is a success. You were provided with articles that showed education in the USA is in many cases not even in the top 20 worldwide. Then you state that we need to spend more money. So my first question is why do we need to spend more money if it is a success? My second question is how can you consider it a success if we don't crack the top 20 worldwide?

And I want to know what the majors are of those that you trumpeted that got full rides. I don't GAS about names, and I didn't ask you for any. Full rides. Majors.

Then tell me what their job prospects are. I want your definition of success.

Where you take your wrong turn is in assuming that the government doing something means increased taxes and spending.

Wrap your mind around this.....the government doing something may lead to less taxes and spending.

Has anyone bothered to ask why getting a full ride scholarship at university proves public education is a success? That seems an unsupported logical leap to me.
