Trump called Roseanne Barr to congratulate her on huge ratings success

saw on the tweeter, Rosanne has been removed from all networks including original show reruns. Cosby show still on air...

Is it all about the money? Should it be?

Just saw the post above: If Cosby is only on Amazon, I'll withdraw the questions.

I find the right's ever increasing effort to blame the Trump presidency on democrats very telling.

You guys picked him over 16 other republicans in the primary. Trump is all yours. Embrace the fact and quit trying to run and hind. At least '72 stands his ground. (even though it's quicksand and on a fault line in the path of an oncoming lava flow.)

On second thought, maybe you should run and hide.
I am standing my ground, but I voted for Cruz in the primary. Trump won me over after he was the nominee, and even moreso after he took office.

We are not as stupid as the Dims, obviously none of the other primary candidates were viable against a rigged candidate with a giant war chest. There were no other candidates really and 8 more years of worrying about how many bathrooms we should have was intolerable. It very embarrassing I am sure to lose a rigged election to a guy running on his own dime spending half as much, but get used to it. The left wing Natzi nuts (antifa yesterday) will remain on the sidelines a while longer.

No one is hiding or embarrassed. He has my deplorable vote at this point, nothing has changed on the dum side.

She was hired for her anti GOP political views, to attack the primary contenders and certainly any potential Republican victor. This is her job and she does it well.

I kind of surprised and disappointed in your line here, you're better than this.

By using expletives? So typical of you Septic.

Bee is a comedian using her platform to push the line. She may have crossed it, that's up to her employer and the public. Comedians have been doing this forever. Twitter is not Barr's platform and "racists" comments are considered worse when determining if the line has been crossed.

I'll grant you the fact that at times there seems to be a double standard but there will never be a way to ever completely separate the act from the underlying intent and motive.
Spoken like a true progressive poon.

The use of the c-word reflects the impact of "Game of Thrones" on pop-culture. It used to be very rare to hear it spoken in movies and especially on television. It's prolific usage on GoT has made it more acceptable. That's probably not a good thing.
I think it more reflects the anonymity that social media has foisted on society.

Of course since Bee is a liberal twat she knows nothing will be done to her.

Are you familiar with stand up comedy? You guys are bringing new meaning to the term snowflake.
It's comedy if you agree with the message, right? No sacred ground when attacking a conservative, but attack a leftist, and words matter. Gotcha.

hypocrite.

No one wants Trump wrongly impeached. No one wants him impeached for his despicable character.

The fact that Trump has despicable character only increases the probability that he has committed impeachable offenses.

We want the investigation to be allowed to fully conclude and then go from there based on the findings.
wow.

So, Rose McGowan viciously attacked Bill Clinton, the most beloved democrat president in recent memory. No liberals are attacking her or defending Bill. Say the same thing about Trump and the right does mental gymnastics to justify his poor behavior. #doublestandard #hypocrites

I seem to be missing where she called Chelsea a "feckless c**t" and told her to toss on something low cut and sexy to try to get Bill to change her mind.

Perhaps you can point out the vile things she said.

I didn't mention that comment. I was really thinking about when similar things are said about Donald. Conservatives do mental gymnastics to say he is misunderstood or blameless.

People see what they want to see.
Till recently Bill and Hillary got a pass from the left media. The left is done with the Clintons so everyone will start beating on them. As for those doing mental gymnastics over trump. I don’t see a lot of it outside of Hannity. I see a bunch of people like myself who see no discernible difference between Trump and the Clintons other than their party affiliation. But if we’re being honest Trump is just Bill Clinton 2.0 in every way

calling someone half ape qualifies...

No, it doesn’t. Calling someone a name is not racism. Name calling in reality should harm only the name caller. Actively performing an act that advances one race over another purely because of race is racism. Someone calling a name could be said to have racist tendencies or be called a racist, but names do not in any way cause physical or financial harm to anyone in this country anymore as far as I can tell.

Your definition is simply someone got called a name. Chances are VJ profited from it and we know that RB did not. Ergo my definition above.

I don't disagree.

Roseanne....Her biggest mistake was openly supporting Trump.

That made her a marked celebrity.

Her biggest mistake was making a racist comment on twitter.

In a technical sense, I agree with your first paragraph. However, your second paragraph is giving RB a pass. Her tweet is not racism. Words are not racism, but they are example "A" that RB is a racist. From my perspective, if I were to minimize or justify her behavior would be to support a racist and I cannot.

I am not minimizing her behavior. She said something she shouldn’t have over social media and suffered the consequences. My point is that the act was not racism as it caused no direct harm to anyone other than herself. Now, is she a racist individual? Probably so.
