Trump engages in voter suppression tactics

Fact Check - You are half right.
there are items at the grocery store that you do have to show ID to purchase. But if you're proud of yourself for pointing that one out, then it's a pretty sad day for you.
Something tells me he/she might not have much real world experience.

Repeat. You do not have to show ID to buy groceries. Cigarettes alcohol and like kind items are not groceries. Get it?

For the purchase of groceries.

I travel all over in my motorhome including OK ( and I used to live there remember, Son?) and i’ve Never seen anyone show ID for the purchase of groceries. Give me the name and address of that store. I’ll swing by and buy some grub

Voter ID laws are not vote suppression. Voter fraud is also not a problem, at least on a large scale.

Republicans trot out avocation of voter ID laws to fire up their base, which thinks that there is a lot of voter fraud being committed by Democrats.

While it fires up the Republican base, it also fires up the Democratic base, who believe (I don't really think they believe this, but they claim to) it is a Republican plot to suppress the minority vote, which overwhelmingly votes Democrat. The soft bigotry of low expectations - poor minorities don't have IDs or can't get to a place to obtain one, so a voter ID law is suppressing their right to vote.
