I believe he has been a traitor. And yes, when you stand up in front of the world and take an enemy's side over your own country, you are a traitor as far as I am concerned. Nixon was traitor. No one would have believed it at the time. No one is defensive but you. You're defending a coward and a traitor

I'm defending the proper use of the word traitor. Trump is many things, but traitor doesn't fit. I'm sorry you don't seem to grasp the English language. If it's any consolation, I agree he's most likely a coward.

Oh, I agree. I teach my kids the same. But every now and then, when nothing else seems to be getting through to the intended audience, a different tactic has to be used. Sometimes you need to punch a bully in his face.
I'm not sure the public fully grasps what Trump has done to national discourse. They laugh it off and excuse Trump with "well that's just Trump being Trump, we knew what we were getting." They have to understand that Trump does not operate in a vacuum. His asinine behaviors have a severely negative ripple effect.
I find it amusing that our current status is "it's okay for the president to act that way, but everyone else should be above it."

I based my opinion on his draft dodging. I thought Clinton a coward as well. It's not that I actually have anything against draft dodgers. I mean, there was good reason to avoid going to Vietnam IMO, though I admire the men who actually served. No, my problem is draft dodgers becoming Commander-in-Chief. That just seems kind of wrong.

What I have said and will continue to say is that Trump has intentionally increased the divide and worsened national discourse.
That increasing divide and worsening discourse will effect both sides. In Trump world - most everyone's behavior is worse.
That's always been my point and one of the big reasons I consider him horrendously despicable.

Yes, Nixon was a traitor. Apparently you aren't properly informed. Documents released just a few years ago showed that he thwarted the Paris Peace talks because he wanted to be the one to stop the Vietnam war. He did this with the North Vietnamese while he was running for President. BTW, my schools taught vocabulary and did it quite well.

Apparently you don't give two sh88ts about being informed

The divide was going on well before Trump. Remember, elections have consequences. But of course, it was okay when your side was doing the dividing. Neither party wants unity, luther. They both want power. The fact you fail to see that, or admit to it, is beyond me. It's like you can't accept truth.

Doesn't make him a traitor. Hell, JFK had signed orders to withdraw from Nam that LBJ quickly rescinded when he took over. Does that make LBJ a traitor? Nope. He was President. Same with Nixon.

Yeah, the dividing was going on and mostly by right wingers. Obama wasn't an American. Obama was a Muslim. Obama hates the USA...who originated that BS? I'm not saying the far left hasn't done it too, but not to the degree of right wingers..it goes on and on.....the war against Christmas, the selective indignation against the NFL......
