If I recall correctly, I think I referred to his behavior on several occasions today, in far less than flattering terms. If you care so much about my posts and thoughts, (didn't know you cared!), feel free to scroll back a page or two and read them and answer your own question for yourself. Doesn't matter their reasons for joining, IMO. They still served their country. As long as their separation from the service was honorable, I find that patriotic.

It's the attitude and arrogance of people like you that helped send Donald Trump to the White House and it's posts like your's that will keep him there. I find it comical that the people like you that want the President run out of office and gone are using a claim like "they don't know any better" to describe their counterparts in the debate when it's overwhelmingly obvious that they aren't even smart enough to realize that it's that arrogant attitude that's going to ensure he's stays there. He obviously doesn't understand "war hero" very well either. A purple heart for getting dinged because you were in a wrong place at a wrong time is more like "victim". Notice there's never been anything about the seriousness of Vindman's "wound". I apologize in advance to anybody my attitude toward that may offend; I'm a veteran, and I do pretty much respect all other vets, but there are times ... and a damn ticket puncher like Vindman appears to be is one of those times. The medals between this National Defense Service Medal (that everyone gets) and the Purple Heart are all either commendations or "meritorious service"; and as near as I can tell today, those are things senior officers write themselves up for as end of tour awards ... and somebody else rubber stamps ... he's probably leaving the WH with another one or two of those. The Combat Infantryman Badge I'll believe in unless someone tells me those can be earned like the way senior AF officers used to fly "combat missions" and earn combat pay ... generally two months at a time by checking in to a combat zone a day or so before the end of the month and leaving a day or so into the next month.

How many times have you seen someone say "leftist" hate America?
How many times have you seen someone personally accuse me directly of hating America?

I can guarantee you that the right accuses the left of being un-American far more frequently than the reverse.

I've said all along he's been elected by the people and shouldn't be removed. Doesn't mean I need to agree with his manner or method.

He pretty much takes on everybody, about everything. Of that you can't deny. He just doesn't have a "governor" on his mouth or twitter account. But he doesn't back down. She's also right on topic about the wealthy being able to buy an election, and even after Trump did it, nobody seems to be paying attention.

She seems likable, but I cannot get past the fact she supported Sanders in 2016. Two peas in a pod as far as I am concerned.
