It is a win. Census data has many uses several of which are tied to services funding. If they aren’t citizens they can’t vote so we don’t need them counted there. And if they aren’t citizens we don’t need to be wasting funds on support for them there either. I see no reason to count them at all frankly.

Not a thing, but you never know how a court might look at it. A federal appeals court recently ruled that chalking tires by cops to see how long someone was parked in a timed spot violated the 4th Amendment ... unreasonable searches and seizures. There is some truly twisted and tortured logic to be found in courts.
