From the CNN article

It's not clear when or if Mulvaney will depart his post, and sources were split on whether his exit was now imminent or he would remain in place through November's election. But discussions about his future have ramped up among staffers as the post-impeachment chapter of the Trump era begins.
“Sources claim Mulvaney will 100% lose his position if he dies.”

Vindman fired. Escorted out by security.

Would love to be his lawyer right about now. His whistleblower lawsuit is going to set records.

I’ve got to ask , does your head ever hurt from banging against that Trump wall? Do you ever feel like you just aren’t getting anywhere ? Does that make you feel depressed and lonely ? Does repeated blows to the head make you feel the need to become a woman or maybe wear high heels and lipstick around the office ? Not that there’s anything wrong with that , I’m just trying to gauge your mental status and possible repercussions from all those swings and misses .

Vindman was the whistle blower?

Irrelevant. He testified truthfully that the President held up the money for political favors and has been fired for it. Epic damages.

I doubt he can sue Trump personally, but it would be fun to try, because if he could, he could add a claim for punitive damages. Which means .... disclosure of all Trump's assets and tax returns!

He ain't going to sue. He's military and is being reassigned back to the Pentagon.

Good luck with that.

Umm, he's an Army officer.

Never-mind you should contact him and let him know you'll take his case pro-bono, sounds like you have thought this through.

I heard a commercial on cable this morning about 2am that sounded eerily familiar to what you just laid out . Except it started out with Do you fell uncomfortable at your place of business ? Have you been harassed by an aggressive landlord ? If so call 1 -800 - Dewey-Cheat’em and How .

Doesn't mean he can fire you for an illegal reason.
LOL!! illegal reason. You have NO idea WHY he was fired. You can make up all sorts of things that you THINK he was fired for, but unless he says it out loud, it is more lawyers grabbing money.

Oh, and military generals aren't in a protected class, so forget that angle. Now if he was doing Chealsea Manning on the side, you might have a case. But wait. That's a 'woman' now so that would be OK. Except that 'she' is enlisted. So there's that. But if that's the case, he was fraternizing, so he's screwed.
