Failure doesn't mean abandon obligations

From the Forbes article that Gramps posted:

Chapter 11 is how you reshape and restructure a company that has problems. It doesn’t indicate anything nefarious or even bad management.”

There is a difference in "abandoning obligations" and restructuring. They didn't sell off the companies at a fire sale

The other leading choice for President. Seems pertinent.

Your implication is that there was hypocrisy in his statement. If he doesn't care for both, then bringing up that the other unmentioned one does equally nefarious deeds offers nothing constructive.

You don't get it, dude. Trump is infallible, and if you don't think so, you must be a Hillary/Obama supporter.

It truly is fascinating seeing the same people who complain about Bush being brought up when discussing Obama do the same exact thing here with Trump. It must take an exceptional level of lack of self awareness to not see their own hypocrisy while attempting, but catastrophically failing, to find it somewhere else.

You are going to be very busy rooting out those posts you think offer "nothing constructive."

Absolutely fascinating that the republican party is so void of quality statesman. Trump, by all means, is the epitome of a wannabe. No platform, crass rhetoric, used daddy's money and was close to losing it all before being bailed out by banks. A trash talking blowhard that caters to the ignorant, a person proven that when things get tough has to rely on others to fix his buffoonery. So entertaining, Trump and the masses......:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

OTH, now Kasich, I think would be very effective as president. Articulate, intelligent and outspoken. Same could be said for Carson but I don't see enough fire in him and I don't care for his health care reform.

And the Democratic Party "quality statesmen" are . . . . . ?

Don't care for Trump at all, just a demagogue with a huge ego, playing on peoples' frustration with how F'd up everything seems to be today.

The "quiet" ones, who can do the work that needs to be done within the constraints of the existing playing field have a hard time breaking through the "noise" whether it be "Hope and Change" or "Deport Them All/Build the Wall". Politicians always make promises they don't keep and we keep falling for it.

I was recently telling my wife how I was starting to catch "Trump Fever," after battling it for so long.

She rolled her eyes and huffed.

But I tell you what, this guy knows how to get to people. He's dumber than a pile of bricks when it comes to actually providing real answers, but that doesn't matter with the voting public.

They just want to hear what they want to hear.

Honestly, after hearing him speak at this paid fundraiser dinner in Virginia (I believe it was), I think he gets the Republican nomination, no matter how much the establishment Republicans may hate him.

He's the Republicans only chance.

So it's going to be Trump v. Bernie.

You talk about comedy gold. Good god almighty.

I'm serious. I'd pay a 100 to see this, but our asses may very well get it for free.

Who do you think would win?

I say Trump comes out looking like a Willy Wonka golden ticket, but I think Bernie would have actually provided more meaningful specifics to back up his claims.

I don’t know if this has been posted before, but it’s hilarious and it is all real video of a public access show Bernie did as Mayor of Burlington or some other town in Vermont. This is funny no matter which party or candidate you support.
