Path is clearing for Daniels or maybe Christie to jump in.

Huck is out
Trump is out
Romney has no chance

If Daniels can make it through the primary he will have a great shot. Christie can make it through the primary but may not have as wide appeal (no pun intended).

am a fan of daniels. wonder if the american people will elect a short man, not overly charismatic, whose wife emasculated him, as president.

I like to see Cain win the nomination just to hear all the crazy ways Republicans would be labeled racist for it. I'm sure there would be some doozies in there.

I couldn't vote for Cain. Godfather's Pizza sucks. It is barely above Chuck E Cheese level.

Narrowing of the field. Trump dropping out doesn't really surprise me....he didn't want too many folks looking into his life & business dealings.

Yep - no surprise.

He got a few shots in though and raised some economic issues that others will likely follow up on.

Wife issue with Daniels seems like a party booster with the Conservative crowd. He entered into the "sacred" bonds of marriage, and showed devotion to same woman after she "made a mistake."

Hell, if he gets in the mix, Newt should just leave. Immediately. No love of country is going to overshadow that, for the religious right.

Whether he can sell it to the young crowd, who may think he lacks a bit of spine... well... I'm sure he can swoop up the 20 something coeds.

I really dislike his social policies. I have no clue whether he's racist or not, but he's probably sexist and homophobic.

I'm not simply labeling him. I'm drawing conclusions from his views. If I decided to run for president and supported cross burning as a form of free speech, would you be dumb enough to avoid labeling me a racist?
