Any kind of "insurance" the government has its hands in is gonna suck. Did Obamacare help people? I'm sure it did some people, but it hurt other people. For me and many with private insurance, it increased the hell out of our premiums, but we don't really matter, do we? I should care more about the people "unable" to work or "unwilling" to work than I do my families wellbeing.
I'm not advocating that Trump can come up with anything better than the ACA. I'm saying scrap the ACA when there's a plan that won't increase everyone else's premiums. When Trump was campaigning, he was talking about opening state borders for private insurers to have more competition. On paper that sounds good, but I don't have enough education on the subject to really have any input on it.
