TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

I'm smarter than you, that's for sure. Of course, my lamp with a burned out bulb is smarter than you, so it's not saying much.
I'm sure you are the smartest guy in the room. I know several lawyers who also have a highly inflated opinion of themselves.

He is so arrogant that he just cannot fathom that REALLY smart guys aren't going to believe him just saying "no collusion, no collusion, no collusion," (gulp of water), "no collusion, no collusion..." for 3 hours straight.

You sound sane

By the way, GOP Sen Johnson who said on Fox to an incredulous Brett Baer that he has a confidential informant telling him there was a "secret society," a cabal of agents meeting to unseat Trump, has completely backed off of that. Now he just says that was a phrase in a text.

Told you that it was complete BS.

The desperation of the GOP to save this idiot Presdent, who is going to take them down the drain with him, is mystifying. But hey, have at it. Go side with him and against the FBI and the DOJ.

Then you should really up your meds.

I quit keeping score a long time ago. You’ve literally gone all in on the “Trump-Putin Collusion”. I’ve seen several posters on here wager bets w you that have gone unanswered.

I think you’ve gone gun shy

LG, I don’t want you to go the same way as VolfProf

The lawyers are warning Trump every day to watch what he says. His lying, his impulsiveness, his constant need to defend himself even at the expense of the truth on simple things, would make him an easy target to question and set up.

He voices understanding. Promises to be more careful.

And every day he goes right back out there and does it again.

I just bumped one of his bets in the Obamagate thread.

Seriously though, do you really believe Trump-Putin collusion

Did I miss the announcement?

Though I do find it funny that all we heard about for nearly a year was "MUH RUSSIA!" and somewhat recently that has changed to "money laundering."

I think the same thing is happening since the beginning. You and others are just tossing **** against the wall hoping it will stick.

Russian money and money laundering has been at the forefront from the beginning. It's not a recent thing. Do you remember the call for "release the taxes" and the question that arose when he didn't. We have a president that filed over a billion in bankruptcies and a credit risk to American banks. He got his money from somewhere and where it came from has always been a concern.

That's not what Putin wants. He wants to take over Ukraine and he wants to push NATO around, dominate them.

Trump has indicated he would concede Ukraine and would not defend NATO countries. He is heavily personally in debt to Russian banks and sources of cash.

People joked about Obama being a Secret Agent Muslim. I'm not saying Trump is a plant by the Russians, but he sure is sympathetic to their aggression and has indicated repeatedly a willingness to allow it. 08-19-2016, 11:51 AM

If he's so stupid, it should be easy to prove his money laundering, Russian connections, collusion and obstruction. Should have this case wrapped up in like a month.

Oh wait...

Seems to be getting close. Nine months is really fairly quick compared to former investigations.

They have learned they need only to plant the seed. They can then back off and flee leaving the peasants to tend the field and insure the seed takes root and flourishes.

Not really, remember we went over the Whitewater and Starr investigation timeline.

I'm just thinking if Trump is as stupid as luther and LG think he is, shouldn't it have been easy to have gotten this sewn up by now? Shouldn't he have made some obvious mistakes that would be easy to identify?

One would think, I’d think a guy as stupid as Trump couldn’t have gotten away with laundering millions of dollars over the years. Either he’s a pretty smart criminal or the IRS auditors are really stupid.

The memo is going nowhere, but it's served its obvious purpose which was to convince the 36% that trump was the victim. Easy sell.

It strikes me as odd that the trumpsters find it easier and more palatable to believe that the former sitting president, the US intelligence agencies, and the DOJ were colluding against Trump than it is to believe trump and Russia were colluding against Hillary. Very telling.
