Trump's Hostile Takeover Attempt Of The GOP

"No more money for RINOS," Trump said in a Monday evening statement. "They do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and our great voting base--they will never lead us to Greatness. Send your donation to Save America PAC at DonaldJTrump.com. We will bring it all back stronger than ever before!"

It's almost like Trump is trying to bilk his supporters.
If anyone has donated to a political campaign for presidency, they have been bilked.

The only hostile takeover Trump has committed is your head.

Trump is gone, he is irrelevant. Biden/Harris now run the White House. Your diversion attempts are not working. Everyone can see the sh$tshow thatā€™s happening at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
I'm not sure a guy trying to run one of the 2 major political parties should be defined as irrelevant. Of course it's all to fleece donors but he's still making an effort

I guess the question becomes who benefits from the bilking and how.
That a trick question? All politicians benefit. Super pacs were the next creation for non accountability. They have a $ limits on what they can do with one contribution buy they are making thousands of those limited contributions.

its more money laundering, they put a "limit" on the contributions but allowed it to be hidden.

Yes, thatā€™s exactly what it is. Just like all the ā€œinstitutesā€ these politicians create and get massive amounts of contributions. Another form of graft.

Convincing a majority of the voters in your own partyā€™ primaries hardly qualifies as a ā€œhostile takeoverā€. I was dismayed to watch it occur but the GOP really only has itself to blame. The ongoing effort of the GOP establishment to keep foisting the Romneyā€™s and McCains of the world on a base that actually wanted leaders who would actually stand up for something made Trump inevitable. The deep conservatives i know were just fed up with candidates who would say the right things but disappear when it came time to actually push conservative positions
