Trump's tax returns to be released to the Dems...

Sure I do. However, I've driven that truck before, and it always leads to the same parking lot. Facts be dayum, just deny, deny, deny, and deny.
I decline to drive the truck again as the journey is pointless, it just detours hither and yon, but always goes around in circles just the same.

You have no facts or knowledge of what you are rambling about...

gotta hate it when it goes "yon"

Of course, I'm the only one occupying my body. I know you want to share it, but fit isn't happening, I'm straight, and married as well. Shoo fly!

You look like a fool. You were asked for evidence to support your assertion, and then deflected and said someone must provide evidence to deny your claim.
I feel sorry for you in a way.

When I ask questions I either get a detour response, a personal attack, a question to my question, or just a denial. So why should I humor you guys? BUT BUT BUT, when I want a bit of amusement, I can always count on the political forum 100% if nowhere else to provide that amusement. Especially from knee jerk Trumpette defenders. It's been fun, fellows, as usual. THANKS, and good night.

There you go again. You are one arrogant person and without any credibility.

But you have a good evening

Same empty truck loaded with your hopes and dreams to get Trump , zero facts . You should be tired of driving that truck .

The tax code favors investing. That's not really a bad thing. If Trump was the real estate savant he portrays himself to be, he'd pay a lot more in taxes. I have a couple of stocks that I've held for 15-20 years that have really appreciated. When should I pay tax on that appreciation?

I'd disagree. If you look at oilprice.com, you'll find that as the price of oil, gasoline, etc goes up they show it in green and red when it goes down. That's fine in the very short term for the investor. However the cost of energy is the same as taxes - a drag on the economy. Increased fuel costs are inflationary - they inflate costs of goods and services and there are few winners ... and investors still lose because even they are affected by inflation they cause. Investments in commodities - particularly speculation - is very much a bad thing.

Stocks are a lesser evil, but even there it's a perverted market driven by immediate gain rather than the thought that invested money gives producers the ability to grow and to develop new products - with the thought that as the company grows so do you investments. It's more a case now of management manipulating the process to churn out sort term profits even if it kills the company ... see GE. If that weren't the case, you'd never see perversions like betting on the rate of change or inflections in the stock price.

This is all essentially a closed loop where doing one thing affects other things. Economies aren't open loops where feedback isn't a factor. Every transaction within an economic system has one or more feedback loops where the transfer functions are either poorly defined or perhaps completely unrecognized. Supply and demand curves are a simple example of feedback loops where demand can either be a positive or negative coefficient depending on whether it is above or below the demand/supply intersection. The point is there is no free lunch, and you can never get as much as you think you can because one change invariably causes other effects with likely more negatives than positives.

Trump was elected in what 2016? Plenty of pre-Trump presidency time for an "impartial" IRS to look into him. So I think your argument is BS that he is hiding something in his 1040s. By the same token it's been almost 3 years since he left office? Plenty of time for a vengeful IRS to dig in and find something.

I would also argue there is more anti-Trump people in DC than there ever were pro-Trump people. So your argument about them being scared is still bs imo.

Now as to Trump being a liar, I have no idea why you would think I wouldnt believe that. I hate Trump, i just hate him for actual policy issues instead of his Tweets.

All that to say the one thing you arent allowed to illegally mess with in this country, regardless of politics, are the taxes. If Trumo had something wrong there, we would know, the IRS has never pulled its punches, and I havent seenanything to indicate they started.

The thing is that it's very very unlikely that Trump prepares either his personal or his business taxes. Somebody else is going to be the one keeping up with tax loopholes and exploiting them; I suppose when Trump signs the forms he somewhat takes responsibility, but as I recall the accountant or whoever does the work also has to sign on a dotted line. That's the part all the people who want to nail Trump forget - he doesn't do his own taxes ... and he possibly doesn't really run his businesses either, and Trump certainly didn't write the tax legislation with all the loopholes.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with tax planning, tax deferral, or tax minimization.

If there is fraud on his personal or business returns, it's not going to be a smoking gun on his 1040. The 1040 is just a road map for an auditor where to look. An auditor is going to have to dig into ledgers, subledgers, workpapers, and supporting documentation to uncover any type of fraud and ledgers, documentation, and workpapers aren't attached to the 1040...

Good morning. As a final thought for a while, another game you all play which I also find fun is: what I used to call your shark feeding frenzy reaction. However, I self-corrected, it's more like a wolf pack harassing tactic. You know where they want to shoo a bear from its meal, so they have it all to themselves. They come in a pack, to surround, taking turns to snip, and snap at the bear until it gives up and leaves. I actually use this analogy to teach about Trumpanzee tactics, along with posts from this forum threads, far right websites, and other media sources. I'd like to see some clever person make a board or digital game that illustrates this even further. But anyway, thanks for your time. Traumpanzees live in a different dimension, beyond the realm of reality, perhaps beyond the universe as well. And thus I leave you for the nonce in your very own:

What’s fun for me is the eternal optimism that some of you have with each and every new headline about Trump and how this is going to be the thing that we finally get him on . It’s quite the social experiment to watch play out . He’s without a doubt the most intensely scrutinized and investigated man walking the planet , not just from the full weight of the US government but in league with multiple governments across the globe . He will never serve any jail time for anything he’s done leasing up to or while he was POTUS . Your media sources did a number on you . Do you still think he didn’t visit the troops at Christmas or Putin has the pee tape , or how about that in depth report about his salt and pepper shakers being bigger than everyone else’s ? Two scoops of ice cream ? 😂😂😂

It's coming. Have to wait for the usual rich folks lunge and parry legally maneuvering fencing games to play out.
I will believe it when I see it.

But this is at least the 10th gotcha. His taxes have already been reviewed by the New York AG. What did they come up with? Nothing.

You have no reason to expect this time to be different except for copium.
