Just reasonable speculation about some of Trump's expenses that allowed him to pay so little in taxes.

Fred was paying DJT very early on and by the time Trump was late teens, he was making a million a year.....That was likely not an arm's length charge at that time and was likely tax driven.

But I assume this can't be a sham arrangement created for a tax or accounting effect only. If it's just Ivanka showing up and doing the same thing she does everyday as Trump Org VP, I gotta believe that the consulting claim wouldn't hold water.

Of course it’s for financial purposes. Just like I could hire a different consulting firm to review my formulas, why wouldn’t I choose to increase the income of my own child if it’s a legal option?
As for Ivanka, does anyone actually know the contractually defined scope of work included in her company VP position? Does her consulting firm provide services that are clearly outside the scope of her VP position? Without a definitive knowledge of those answers it’s all just sour grapes at this point.

Not liking it or bad optics still doesn’t make it illegal.

Giving a 14 year old an allowance or gifting him $$$ (Assuming all gift tax implications are factored) obviously isn't illegal. Paying Barron fair value for any services that he is providing to the business isn't illegal. Paying Barron 7 figures for "real estate consulting services" like Fred did over 50 years ago would be.
