Either are possible. I'm 99% certain that Barr's assessment of Mueller's collusion findings are accurate (no findings).

The investigative side of the story is yet to be told. Could be innocent sloppiness or it could be intentional misdeeds. An objective person would see enough smoke to be damn interested in getting to the bottom of it and sharing it all publicly but for the most part when such questions are asked they are dismissed.

I’ve never made any claims regarding the level of my intelligence.

I wasn’t, however, ignorant enough to get strung along by a two year collusion hoax fueled by innuendo, conjecture, and anonymous sources.

So without exception any time I work with gov employees they are forbidden from taking a thumb drive or external hard drive and connecting it to their computer and thus their network. Their IT depts mandate it. However I’ve never seen resistance to accepting a CD or DVD. They’re just rather small on storage capacity by modern standards.

If (big if) it turns out that there was political influence and intentional withholding of information to obtain surveillance warrants (both of which some evidence exists to establish suspicion) and the main stream media ignored to then they have written their own death warrant. The Pentagon Papers and Watergate were examples of the press going after the political establishment. So far the press has focused on defending the political establishment and putting almost no effort into to questioning the official narrative from the political establishment.

It appears the White House/DOJ are going all out on a spin job tomorrow, but this is what it really boils down to.

Sadly, I'm in a seminar tomorrow and may be delayed in reading about Trump's dirty deeds.

But you're ignorant enough to suggest the Democrats used a Russian agent to try and set up Trump and it was all covered up by lifelong Republicans in the FBI.

It didn't have to be covered up by the FBI. It was shopped hard and repeatedly to the FBI including by Republican Trump haters (McCain). They may have thought it was legit. That doesn't change the possibility it was a set up.

To describe this as pure on one side and complete corruption on the other is the most unrealistic scenario but that's how the media has portrayed it and how most of the posts on this board have characterized it.

Lifelong Rs that are never Trumpers or have switched parties now ( comey) . The same FBI that had Steel on their payroll ? Texts going back and forth about keeping Trump from becoming POTUS from these fine upstanding , neutral , law enforcement agents ? That fish was rotting from the head down .

So a Russian attorney who had to get a special waiver by the Obama administration to get back into the US is at the center of a meeting with the Trump team. And is also connected to the firm who was coordinating Russian opposition research. And meets with Glenn Simpson the day before and the day after the TT meeting. And lies about it when first questioned.

But it’s wiser to consider it all one big coincidence rather than a coordinated effort at a setup?
