"Hello, America. My name is Elliot Richardson, and I was once Richard M. Nixon's Attorney General.

After distinguished WWII service, plowing up Utah Beach under heavy German machine gun fire, I entered what I had hoped would be a more amicable career in politics.

I was wrong.

After Mr. Nixon illegally authorized a break-in of the Democratic National Headquarters at the Watergate complex, I was ordered by Mr. Nixon to fire special prosecutor, Archibald Cox, a 1970s political name if ever I've seen one.

Remembering my days being shot at upon a beach in Normandy, I did the only thing any self-respecting patriot could do: I refused, and I tendered my resignation.

As such, history thinks very highly of me.

So, with that being said, I want history to think very highly of you too. I'm here to give you all your daily reminder that Watergate was 27 months between Mr. Nixon's illegal crimes and his resignation. As I understand, we are currently in Month 10 of a far greater scandal.

Friends, do not give yourself over to craven desires now. Refuse the temptations of pussification.

Be a patriot today and always.

Thank you."

Elliot Richardson has been dead for 17 years. Are you now holding seances?

I think at this point you need to decide which you love more:

Truth?

or

War with North Korea and/or a renewed war in Afghanistan?

We at least know we will not be going to war with either China or Iran, though, so that is good. Turns out, Donny and the Kushners have a lot of economic interests in China, and, it turns out that the Trumps launder money for the Iranian military out of Baku.

Cheers.

A new question:

What was the recklessness of the original Muslim ban intended for?

1. A sincere, yet reckless, attempt at banning Muslims from non-Trump places?

2. A backdoor for getting Bannon on the NSC, with minimal national attention, like many thought at the time?

3. A haphazard (and idiotic, as all things Donny) attempt at "silencing" the lovely Ms. Yates regarding Donny's treason?

You decide.

Gee, you think you may have left out other options?

False choices.

False post.

Obviously, you do not love truth.

I have economic interests in China, so what? I would imagine Trump has economic interests in most every county, so what? If he was in the real estate business with no interests in China I would find that ridiculous, almost impossible.

I don't know whether I find it funny it sad that volprof continues in his assertions when development after development illustrates Trump policy at odds with Kremlin and Putin interests.

That's because you're a sheep who doesn't realize these policies are merely a feint to throw you off the scent. If you hadn't stopped going to VP's Patriot Spy Club meetings under the overpass you'd know that already.

Enjoy your Chinese money.

You're going to choke on it eventually.

Please provide us with a detailed post, other than a hit-and-run, as to how this is the case.

I'll even allow you to include Operation Enduring Pothole in Syria.

Your source is a former Clinton staffer who made $45,000 a year, owns a photography business now, and has been debunked by snopes?

Haha!

You and the Daily Kos on the same side!

Marvelous.

Strange bedfellows does treason make.

Again, treason lovers, my sources are substantiated by a network of sources that have been repeatedly correct and corroborate one another.

You try to take down one; the other perseveres.

You all are ****ed.

Deal with it.

I would like to take this time to thank our fake president for his defense of democracy.

As everyone knows, Mr. Donny is the paragon of democratic defense.

After Wikileaks/Russia's intrusion in to the French election, I'm glad we have a president on our side that is willing to go the extra mile to defend Russia.

Between Donny's defense of Erdogan's takeover, Putin's hacking, Kim's nukes, and Duterte's extra-judicial killings, I really feel a strong counter-offense by the West is coming.

May you all rot with your little dictator.

Look man I am not a Trump fan. And your little hissy fits are absurd. You using people from Twitter, who aren't real sources, and from checking their backgrounds suggest they have no insider sources, is highly irresponsible. Calling people traitors who are simply waiting for the actual investigation, from you know the people who are paid to do it, is absolutely over the line. If you and your tweeters are correct I hope Trump and his team end up hanged on the lawn of the rose garden. Your constant babbling causes you to lose credibility and makes you look crazy. You need to grow up. The name calling you have engaged in, even well before Trump, should make you look hard in the mirror about your maturity level.
