He did, and the reason would have been because he so grossly mishandled the Clinton investigation. The reason he was fired now is because he was getting to close to the truth on Trump/Russia. The firing now screams cover up. A firing earlier would have screamed Clinton was wronged.

You're right, it's not over. It's a long way from over. But there's a whole lot of new digging and mining going on and subpoenas being issued. That means as they're turning over stones they're finding things. This has the potential to be one of the ugliest chapters in US history.

The DNC and therefore the unhinged left here bought it completely, had their talking points ready and have been repeated here many times about watergate, Nixon and the President simply firing comey because he was getting too close to the fake Russian connections.

You left out the big one.....Cover Up. You will be hearing these non-stop for the foreseeable future. The Dems. version of "Lock her up" and "build that wall". Only there's more meat on the bone with the Dems. talking points.
