TrumPutinGate

Absolutely lazy and asinine to go straight for the race card.

absolutely true. Obama was Lincoln and FDR compared to the sleazy, dishonest moron who's our president now. Obama was everything that Trump is not--intelligent, articulate, mature--and with an interest in solving problems and looking forward instead of destroying things and looking backward. Trump's gonna bring back coal! That's what you like about Trump? Conservatives make me laugh. Trump doesn't know anything about anything--he's a pawn of the GOP Congress, which is a joke because Republicans stand for nothing but doing favors for the wealthy and big business. Tell me it isn't true. Their prolonged attempt to repeal and replace the ACA is proof positive that they're FOS--and that all their hysteria about Obamacare was ginned up nonsense, which all you rural suckers buy. Trump is an absolute joke compared to Obama--but I guess a loud-mouthed moron and racist does delight the rednecks.

Indeed, you do.

I think about 45% of the voters in those "fly over states" voted democrat. That number will grow in 2018 and even more so in 2020. Many "fly over" republican voters are realizing they were mislead and that democrats are more in line with their best interests. (even with all of that scary progressive inclusion stuff)

Lmao

Which policies did you disagree with? (this should be good.)

1. Iranian nuclear deal
2. ACA
3. Libya
4. Expanding SCHIP
5. Not following through on that "redline" in Syria
6. Abandoning South Sudan
7. Dodd Frank
8. Bailout of Chrysler and GM
9. Hacking the associated press
10.Exposing businesses to "joint employer" liability for workplaces they do not control and workers they do not employ.
11. Race to the top
12. His pen and his phone
13. Gibson Guitar
14. His pointless Afghanistan surge
15. Russian reset
16. Prosecution of whistle blowers and leakers at a historic rate
17. Stimulus package

This is just off the top of my head

You might want to be careful labeling all those flyover states as flipping...

They aren't all flipping. Most will not. Some will. And that number will grow again in 2020. (I think.....and hope)

Based on numbers....OK may be the most solid red state in history. I don't see them flipping any time soon.

A lot of flyover Republican voters have been misled, not by Trump, but by the so called "Republicans" in the Senate, and many in the House. Trump would sign a bill if the Senators weren't afraid of the negative publicity that they will get from whatever they vote for. They have no spine. If they did, they would give their constituents what Trump campaigned on, and let the chips fall.

Republicans in flyover country don't think that the Democrats are more in line with their self interests, because they aren't, unless they just want a handout, and to be a slave on the Democrat plantation forever.

Nope, trickle down economics has never worked and never will!As for abortion, (Rs run on repeal of roe v.wade) the choice is to follow God's law or follow man's law. Just because a law is a law doesn't make it right. The issue shouldn't be a political football.

"Trickle down economics" have worked out just fine for North Carolina.

Well, your party has done exceptionally well in the recent special elections. Big Mo is definitely on your side.

Another area where we'll have to agree to disagree. IN MY OPINION....75% of republican voters would be better off (especially in the long run) under democratic control. It is also obviously my opinion, that a growing number of "fly over" republicans are going to come to this realization.

Okay, time to break up the mini deplorables' whackfest going on here.

I know "you can't make this stuff up" is a cliche, but with this gang of criminals, you seriously can't make this stuff up:

https://www.propublica.org/article/marc-kasowitz-trump-lawyer-threat-emails-maddow

I hope this individual pursues charges. That will mean that three attorneys in the Don Gang will have attorneys to represent them. Throw in Sekulow, who looks sure to be prosecuted eventually for his big Evangelical money scam, and we will have four Don Gang attorneys who have had to hire attorneys for representation.

You just can't make this up.

Ah yes, the good ole "they're voting against their own self-interest" or "if they only knew what's good for them."
