TrumPutinGate

Regarding Problem Child, what we currently know publicly about the meeting is the absolute best this is going to get.

Think about this, currently, Problem Child's on public record seeking espionage activities with the Russian government. That's all fact and on record.

According to him, however, it was a big "nothing burger," in the inbred terminology of the deplorable. They never gave any goods.

We currently stand at the best possible order of events from this meeting for Team Treason.

Point being, once it is revealed what actually happened in that meeting between Problem Child and the Russian spy (if you think she was merely a lawyer, I've got not one but two Butch Jones' national titles to sell you), what is already bad is going to get far, far worse.

We're at the beginning of the end now, finally, countrymen. But we've still got a little ways to go.

"The Russian lawyer who penetrated Donald Trump’s inner circle was initially cleared into the United States by the Justice Department under “extraordinary circumstances” before she embarked on a lobbying campaign last year that ensnared the president’s eldest son, members of Congress, journalists and State Department officials, according to court and Justice Department documents and interviews.

This revelation means it was the Obama Justice Department that enabled the newest and most intriguing figure in the Russia-Trump investigation to enter the country without a visa."

"The Moscow lawyer had been turned down for a visa to enter the U.S. lawfully but then was granted special immigration parole by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for the limited purpose of helping a company owned by Russian businessman Denis Katsyv, her client, defend itself against a Justice Department asset forfeiture case in federal court in New York City.

During a court hearing in early January 2016, as Veselnitskaya’s permission to stay in the country was about to expire, federal prosecutors described how rare the grant of parole immigration was as Veselnitskaya pleaded for more time to remain in the United States."

And there's the Obama klan right in the middle of things again. You can bet there are a lot of people on the Dim side that want this to just go away because it's going to come out as a cancer that spread far and wide if not shut down. It looks pretty negligent if you use extraordinary measures to admit someone with a limited scope of purpose for being here and then fail to keep tabs when you just expelled a bunch of Russians for subversive activity.

“The State Department issues visas, and the Department of Homeland Security oversees entry to the United States at airports.”
At the Homeland Security Department, officials said that the Russian lawyer had been admitted to the country to handle a court case.
“Because she was coming here for a court case, there was a specific reason behind it,” spokesman Dave Lapan said.
Getting into the U.S. appears to have been extremely difficult for Veselnitskaya, however.
Prosecutors from the U.S. attorney’s office in the Manhattan repeatedly impeded her entry, according to a person close to Veselnitskaya. In 2015, she publicly complained that the U.S. government had denied her a visa.

For purposes of the investigation, I consider "being involved" as being a participant in the crimes.

Coverup and obstruction.

Anyhow, I don't literally think all 300 or so Republican congress members are going to prison.

Some will go to prison.
Some will get voted out in 2018.
Some will have to resign.

Most, however, will fade away into deserved oblivion over the next few years as the GOP decays, loses what Independent support it has had, and its morally erect NeverTrump segment forms a new conservative party and coalition.

Lol. I may never go to sleep from laughing so hard. Glad your back man, I've missed your humor.

I may have missed it but what do you know about the hacking of the RNC and other Republicans? Or what is your opinion?

My understanding is that the RNC (at the very least) was compromised as well by GRU. Whether any particular Republican's accounts were too, I do not know.

Given, however, how incredibly corrupt and morally bankrupt Republicans now appear to be in response to Donny's high crimes, it's very likely that a whole heaping lot of kompromat (which would likely make the revealed Democratic corruption look like mere child's play) on Republicans belongs in Russian hands.

What about the Macedonians? No one is bringing this up, was it a freudian slip by HRC?

Oh, yeah, forgot to add that House Republicans blocked a proposal to suspend Kushner's security clearance today.

Was initiated by Wasserman-Schultz.

Congratulations, Republicans, you've managed to make Wasserman-Schultz look good in the history books your great-grandchildren will read.

I've been on the road. Did I hear correctly that Trump has admitted that "maybe" the meeting was mentioned to him?

Yes.

“In fact maybe it was mentioned at some point,” he added.

Preparing the mouth-breathing, booger-eating base for the inevitable. Have been now the past month with all the Fox News/WH/Kremlin (all same thing) "well, collusion isn't a crime" nonsense.

Mueller must be getting close with his giant boomhammer of the Republic.

She took a cheap shot, got rebuffed, and that makes her look good? That's some creative scoring.

It's worse than that.

Coup already occurred, Lou. Donny and Republicans took care of that in 2016.

I think what Lou really is disturbed by is the prospect of the return of the rule of law.
