So Obama's actions dictate where your bar is set?

Low bar if you ask me. I find it ironic that all of you "bbbuuutt hilary and obama" folks don't see why comparisons to Obamas/Clintons actions don't help make a case that something is acceptable. You know, since bad behavior is bad behavior, no matter the source.

One would think that people who thought Obama did a bad job wouldn't use him as a measuring stick of acceptable governance - it's self defeating.

Like most mental illness there is no quick way to to alleviate the problem or permanently fix it. I'm not a doctor but I've slept with a ton of girls so I can safely say Zoloft or other mood enhancers can help alleviate the stress that liberalitis dementia tardus can bring on. A warning though it could cause menstrual cramping, breast tenderness, and diarheaa so male liberals should consult their doctor before raiding their besties permanent friend zone medicine cabinet. Can be taken orally or rectally. :birgits_giggle:

He is, in fact, the duly elected and legitimate President of the United States.

Now, we can debate if he acts Presidential, of which he does not from time to time, but make no mistake, he is YOUR President. A fact certified by Congress per the Constitution. And any attempt for you to claim otherwise puts you in the same mental category as Sheila Jackson Lee who tried to stop said Congressional certification and got shut down by former Vice President Joe Biden himself.

I didnt say it was acceptable. The point the" buuuuuut hillllary/obama" people often make is to show hypocrisy. In this case LG gets foamy at the mouth over the idea of pardons for crimes that haven't been commited/tried/convicted, but was ok with someone getting a pardon who could technically have been executed.

Obama didn't do a bad job, but he didn't do a great job. He was pretty average and dare I say vanilla (no racist).

The problem with this claim, that it's just sour grapes, is that whoever is in office defeated someone to do it.

If a Democrat president conspired with a foreign power to get elected, maybe laundered money for them, was essentially bribed by them, would you say that GOP complaints about that are just whining over the prior election?

The legitimacy, appropriateness, believeability, motivations, and intents are all the things called into question. He is as much fake president as CNN is fake news media.

Remember that plane from Malaysia that disappeared a while back? CNN had a guy talking about black holes as a potential cause..........its not about reporting news its about creating news and sensationalizing news for ratings. CNN has jumped the shark in the last year and it has given them a small uptick in the ratings which was all that was needed to for them to put all their eggs in the dumb basket.

People would be better off if they took what they saw on entertainment shows (CNN/FOX/MSNBC/Comedy Central) with a healthy dose of skepticism and maybe did some of their own legwork to draw their own conclusion instead of swallowing spoonfuls of BS. Sadly its evident from these forums that there are too many people with not enough real world experience to draw from to see through a lot of BS.
