TrumPutinGate

Stop the presses. Mueller subpoena of Trumps bank records takes this investigation to a whole new level. It is at this point where Trump is debating firing Mueller. If he does, mark my words, Trump will ultimately be removed from office by Congress.

Then he should examine his financial disclosures.

You mean trust Bone Spur to have disclosed his ties to Russia? The guy that routinely stiffs contractors and business partners? The guy that lies literally every hour, about even the most inane things? The guy that has lied so much about just this one Russia issue that we've all lost count?

I'm afraid of ANOTHER special council abusing his office for political purposes. Everyone should be terrified of that.

But should everyone be terrified of a special council just doing his job?

Trump can have him fired if he wants. cough...Archibald...cough.

I thought his job was to investigate possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

Not hardly. It was to give a complete and thorough anal exam to Trump, to find out if anything that he has done in his entire life could possibly result in a shot, however remote, at removing the S.O.B. from office.

The Dims are showing their desperation. They have a history of being sore losers.

Just curious guys... If Trump has served as a money launderer, would you care?

Nah, I think the job has become "keep this going until the 2020 elections".

I have raised the point at least twice. If they really feel he is a traitor, and can prove any of it, they need to act sooner than later. Letting a traitor operate for years is unacceptable. At some point they have to recognize the diminishing returns they are getting with keeping this going.

or they can just go ahead and admit this is a witch hunt, designed to help them in the next election.

If Muller continues and indicts/prosecutes people on charges unrelated to the election people will eventually see it for what it is.

My guess is Manafort won't see the inside of a courtroom until 2019 or late 2020. No way Muller can risk him being exonerated.

Why is our DOJ concerned about a German bank laundering Russian money?

There must be evidence that Trump's involvement with the Russians via that bank reflects that he has been doing their bidding out of financial interests.

In a way, I'd like to see it happen. Too many Republicans praised Mueller's objectivity and professionalism, too many have said they support his efforts, such that if Trump goes this route, it is a sure fire path to impeachment and removal from office.

That's going to become the mantra, now, isn't it?

The Dims are showing their desperation. They have a history of being sore losers.

And the GOP has a history of financial shenanigans and cover-ups getting their presidents booted from office.

He wouldn't be going into that unless there was reason to believe that the Russian money Trump has received via that bank is playing a role in this.

Or he is just fishing for a crime.

Was there a time when it was legal? Can ISIS and Russia really help our country by laundering their plunder in the United States? How?

WTF does ISIS have to do with this conversation?

Russians laundering money through a German bank and buying property here in the US does not hurt us one bit.
